Arrived June 9 in my Arrow. Friendly lineman gave us a ride in the golf cart back to the FBO. Arrived June 14 to find front door locked at 712AM (opens at 7). Had to wait for a car to exit the side gate before being able to access the aircraft.

Service was great on arrival. Told the FBO we would need a top-off before leaving in two days, and we headed into town. After returning to the airport, we were missing 25 gals. Either the gas was never put in, or it was siphoned out, regardless, the lineman wasn't understanding. Ended up talking to the GM, and said he would review the surveillance tape and call us back. We purchased the additional 25 gals, and headed off, never to get a phone call, and him never answering our messages.

I was at SRR for the horse races. The services were great, the personnel were very helpful and interested in my needs. Quick and professional line service, very clean FBO! Ruidoso car rentals are the way to go with advanced reservation. Car was there when we arrived and the line crew had it at the front door. Overall a very nice experience. Only those who knew the old airport can fully appreciate the new SRR!

The FBO did not open when they say they would. After calling the day before to get the hours of operation and make arrangements to get an early start on 6-20 to beat the heat, I had to wait well over an hour for someone to show up. There were others waiting also.

Be aware of the following when flying to this airport: 1. Town is 15 miles away. 2. There is no place to eat on or near the airport. 3. No crew cars available. 4. Taxi service is spotty. When we arrived we called about a taxi and were told 4-5 hour wait.

I had a nose up landing in a Cessna 210 at KSRR. My plane was taken off the runway by the mechanic. I had to wait for the insurance to supply a prop. The airport decided to put my plane in a hangar. It took 20 days to receive the prop. I went to get the plane and the airport charged me $1200.00 for the 20 nights. I went to the city about the excessive charge. He said he would get back to me about it. I called for weeks. Finally he got back to me and said that was the going rate. I told him before it was much higher than any other airport around. He acted like he didn't believe me, and said that's just the way it is! I called around on other airports in the area for hangar rates and got this. Carrizozo $20.00, Las Cruces $35.00, Cutter in El Paso $45.00, Alamogordo $35.00, Roswell $30.00. They may be friendly, but watch your wallet. $60.00 hangar and $15.00 tie down fee. By the way T Hangar rate is $250.00 a month. I guess they like to play GOTCHA!

Flew in over Christmas. Fuel service was prompt the day after Christmas and Roy was especially helpful with a jumpstart. Went above and beyond what was expected to get me on my way.

Flew into Ruidoso for the first time and had a good experience all around. Upon landing, the lineman called us on the radio guided us to our parking spot and he tied down the plane. John with Enterprise was waiting with our rental car, pulled it to the plane, loaded our luggage, and gave us great recommendations on hiking and dining in Ruidoso. I highly recommend Ruidoso & Enterprise.

This is a good airport with reasonable service for a county FBO. You must make your own arrangements (in advance) getting to/from town. We look forward to our next trip to Ruidoso. Caravan N324CC

Have flown into SRR many times in the past and agree with the comments about Chris at Kiki. Very nice guy and ready to help if you have issues with the plane. We always use Enterprise and they are fine, if you call way ahead of time. This airport is owned and staffed by the city/county so do not expect things to be like an FBO at other places. They do a descent job but the airport is stuck 12 miles or so away from everything and it’s well worth planning ahead when coming here.
