Great job! Courteous, professional staff, cheap fuel, called me on the radio prior to parking to help me. Use the crew car and eat at Bell Buckle cafe. Did I mention fuel price?

Excellent experience on midday Sunday. I pulled up to the pumps, and was immediately fueled (full service). Payment is made in the FBO. Prompt, helpful, quick turn. I did not see a self serve option, so make sure the FBO is open to get fuel.

Great experience at Shelbyville! The staff at the FBO was very accommodating, and the price of 100LL is hard to beat. We were able to use the courtesy car overnight, drove to Bell Buckle to eat at the Bell Buckle Cafe. Highly recommend that you take in that Cafe! Again, the staff at Shelbyville was great. I will definitely be back.

Stopped in 9/11 for fuel. Full service at a price better than self-serve. Nice facility and folks.

Stopped in July 15th for a quick turn -- great job and very nice facility. Nice airport that others could learn from!

Stop here every trip on the way to and from Florida. Convenient in and out, best gas prices around, super friendly folks and Memphis center treats you right if you are IFR flight planned. This FBO could give lessons on how it should be done.

We flew into SYI on 1 August 2010 and the folks were very nice, pumped gas for us and gave us a courtesy car and a recommendation for Bell Buckle Cafe which was quite busy (about a 15 minute wait on a Saturday noon), good down-home food and surrounded by antique/curio shops. Great fuel price, would recommend these guys!

Runway in very good condition. Recently resurfaced. Quick turnaround, very friendly staff, and low fuel prices. Will definitely go back.

From Adam Priest on 28-Jun-2010

Great service, friendly staff, and a great fuel price. All good reasons to stop at SYI any time!

From Brian Dunsirn on 18-Feb-2010

SYI is a common stopping point for us on our trips from FL to WI. The fuel price is always the lowest, prompt service plus a crew van to take us to lunch in historic and nearby Bell Buckle. Even the cats are happy to see us touch down in Shelbyville!

This is a wonderful small airport! Not only is their Jet-A price the best in the area, I got great service from the line crew (they even knew how to fuel an MU-2) when I stopped at Shelbyville last week to pick up a passenger. The office staff also did a good job, and the coffee was good. To make things even better, the entire staff appeared to be under 30, hard working, and enthusiastic about general aviation. Maybe there is still some hope for America.

I have stopped several times. 1st with an Aztec and now with a Cheyenne I. Service is consistently excellent with a friendly family attitude. I highly recommend.

My friends and I stopped here for fuel in the midst of a long cross-country. Very inviting FBO! The crew was efficient and friendly, and they had a sweet old American Airlines DC-3 you could get checked out and rated in. Must go back with Dad's credit card...

Shelbyville is what all-small town FBOs should be. Helpful smiling folks, comfortable facility good prices. We called ahead and the nice crew car was waiting and directions to the restaurant were printed out for us. Several great nearby non-chain restaurants for the adventurous. We will be back.

From James Peterson on 09-Mar-2009

We stopped for fuel and found some of the friendliest, most qualified aviators we'd met in a long time. Also, the low advertised price goes even lower with quantity discounts.
