Stopped by for gas. Polite attendant fueled me from self serve pump at best price in the area, gave me cart ride to nice new FBO, and gave me a free coffee and a Krispy Kreme. Offered car to nearby eatery. It just doesn’t get much better. I'll be back.

Stopped in for lunch and fuel a few weeks ago with an x-gi who did his boot camp hear in the 70's, Chris, the staff and fuel prices were great! I shall return.

Cheapest fuel around, and Chris the manager was great. We took the van to the PX for lunch (5 minute ride). We will definitely use them again next time we're in the area.

Excellent stop for fuel. Staff is very helpful. The tower is most professional & very helpful getting you in and parked and obtaining your out-bound clearance. There are nearby places for food on base and there's a loaner van and inexpensive taxis for transportation. The FBO building is in-line for replacement this coming year. Currently it is a small trailer with limited flight planning and other facilities. I'm looking forward to future stops and the new GA terminal building.

When we got home got a call from the FBO, stating that we had left a bag in the rental car! Calling tomorrow to figure out how to get it home. Fuel was cheap and our rental was waiting after hours and our airplane was hangared the next day! Great service, and tower stayed open for our arrival on Fri! Awesome!

Amazing 100LL price on sale! Airport is miles inside an Army base so you get a good tour as you drive through. Used the nice free courtesy van to overnight nearby. Huge selection of hotels and restaurants around base.

I had a great experience start to finish. The tower (open for advisories only at the time) was very helpful and friendly with traffic, runways, and weather. Gary at the FBO provided top-notch service, helping me with the cheap self-serve fuel and more. They were able to get me in a nice, new hangar (better than mine back home) for the night, and my plane was safe from some really bad storms overnight. The folks at Hertz had my rental waiting on me. The FBO is a dumpy trailer, but there's nothing dumpy about the way the place is run. I also found Fort Leonard and the surrounding area to be a great spot with many nice and affordable hotels and restaurants.

I had to divert here due to weather. The fuel pump was INOP, but there was a NOTAM issued for this, which I didn't get because it was not my primary/alternate destination. After my initial shock at diverting to a joint use Military/Civilian airport, it took me a minute to realize that I didn't accidentally divert to a Military base. They are friendly to Civilians here! Chris made me a pot of coffee, and I got a tour of one of the kitplanes on the field while waiting out the weather. The FBO isn't the nicest facility, (a beat up trailer actually), but what they don't have in equipment, they make up with personality. Thanks Chris. Hopefully the city will spring for the repair of the fuel pump, which was struck by lightning. (Chris was fighting for this while I was waiting).
