Flew the T206H in yesterday for a meeting in Toledo. Went to Grand Aire for tie down, fuel, and rental car. They were very helpful, the car was ready and in good condition. A $20 ramp fee is waived if you buy fuel, which I did. Would return on the next visit.

Brief stop while ferrying a plane home - VERY helpful staff on a Sunday afternoon - Planes topped and car provided - Lunch location suggestion was GREAT too!! Thanks again Guys!! Will see you next time in the area. Down the end of the ramp... But worth it!! Says it all!

Grand Aire was a decent stay. The facilities are nice and the people were friendly enough. On the way out I wasn't sure the person fueling my plane really knew what they were doing. In fact they started fueling without grounding the plane so I grabbed the ground cable and connected it myself. I called to inquire about hangar space while I was there because of some possible weather coming in and was told it would cost $100 per night for my C310. Again, not too uncommon but it could have been a little better. Overall a decent stay and would probably use them again.

Visited on Friday, 4/7/06. The linesman parked us, but walked away before we disembarked. The receptionist inside was polite but not friendly. Crew car (a van) was provided for a quick run to Subway, but it wasn't clean inside. On return I brought back a cookie for the receptionist, told her that I'd leave in 10 ten minutes, completed planning only to find out that the receptionist had left the office and I was locked outside the ramp area. Waited 10 minutes but nothing. Called the main number on cell and got the mechanic who sent someone to let me out on the ramp. Cheapest fuel price won't ensure best service...And I know it's not true everywhere. Next time I will check other FBO's. Granted that I bought only 57 gallons 100LL (Cirrus SR22), but I'm sure if we'd flown in a jet, the receptionist wouldn't have stranded me inside and unable to get to the plane when I wanted to. Grand Aire can sure improve their service. Facilities are average with phones hard to use.

Taxi west to the best!!! Oustanding....had an alternator failure on final (Friday 3:00 pm) and taxied to the closest guys who were going to let sit till Monday afternoon...I phoned the other FBO's and Grand Air told me to taxi down. 3 hours later I had a new alternator already installed. The most professional, friendly AME's and staff I've met! These guys have my business for life!
