Dan and Co did a great job. Had our rental ready and waiting in the shade on arrival. Had hangar space for the weekend, and had the plane pulled out and waiting for us in the shade even with our late departure.

I called ahead and gave Dan my ETA. He was there waiting for me and gave me a hand refueling my twin Comanche which I appreciated as I had flown from Chicago and was tired. Dan then directed me to tie down and helped us unload two golf carts worth of stuff. Fuel is cheap, tie down fee collected on the honor system, great service. No need to go to KPSP!

This airport was a great stop for me. Landed with little difficulty, went to the pumps and Dan was there waiting with my rental car and to fuel the plane. Provided a hangar for 5 nights at a reasonable rate and it was a pleasure to do business with them. I highly recommend Thermal Self Serve and if I get to the west coast again will be sure to stop in.

These guys seem to actually enjoy providing service to transient pilots. They are there to help with the self-serve fueling, the tiedowns, and luggage handling. The only quibble I have with my recent visit is some confusion regarding rental cars. It seems that the local Enterprise outlet will not deliver cars to the airport. The on-airport Go Rentals did provide excellent service, though. Kind of a kick to land at an airport that's actually well below sea level -- not something most pilots do very often.

I was there for the AOPA event. Dan is such a swell guy and you really feel welcome in a single piston! I landed, the rental car was right there... And they have the best fuel price in the Palm Springs area. It's my standard stop for Palm Springs and I'm sure you'd like them too!

Flew in to TRM with the in-laws. Hertz rental car was waiting for us at terminal building and keys were left in lock box (great system). Dan had left a welcome message on the whiteboard: Car (arrow), Keys (arrow) - GREAT! I never met Dan, but the convenience of this FBO was excellent. Avgas was the cheapest in the area, it saved me about $90 filling up at TRM compared to the neighboring airports. Will be back - great convenience!

Dan gives exceptional service. Arrived Apr. 5, 2012. And he helped with fueling, offered water on arrival, restroom close by, even gave me a tow over to the parking area.

What a great experience. Dan stayed later than normal and helped with the refueling while we unloaded the bags into the awaiting rent a car. He put our plane into the big green hangar. When we departed over the weekend, we used his tug to pull the plane out and off we went. Good job Thermal Self Serve!!

Our corporate flight department has been using self serve for about 5 years. Every time we visit we have a great experience. Dan & company run a top-notch operation. Bringing an aircraft like ours (Falcon 50) to a "self-serve" can seem a little intimidating to the first timer but, they handle aircraft of this size and larger. They are very eager to help and know what they are doing. The fuel prices, hangar availability and excellent staffing have made this my favorite FBO.

First visit to this FBO - usually go to KPSP - selected this FBO based on research on AirNav site, best fuel prices in the area (saved almost $100 over KPSP prices) and hangar availability - I was not disappointed - first time in 45 years of flying I was able to rent a hangar on a daily basis at a very reasonable rate and a beautiful large executive hangar at that! Dan and Amber were very helpful on the phone and in person and took care of my needs. One caution, if you are looking for a good price on a car rental, do your research and shop. Make a call directly to the local office to get all the correct information that you won't get with an online reservation. Off airport car rental companies will not have all the extra fees that on-airport car rental companies must charge and they do add up. Great experience with this FBO and we will return.

I have been in to Thermal Self FBO many times and each time the service and friendly attitude is the best. I am on the way out there today and Dan is planning to meet the wife, the dog and me!

On arrival Dan was there and helped park us and had the rental car pulled up by the time we were unloaded. Used Desert RentACar, as Hertz had "none available" in the middle of June. Clean car at a good price. Dan very helpful with restaurant advice and directions. Great service, I'll go back!

Before I was shut down my Cadillac rental (had requested a compact) was driven up to me and I made a change to use a hangar, was towed to the hangar given a key and thanked. Upon departing the cart came and towed me back to the fuel pumps, friendly friendly place. Without a doubt one of the very best FBOs I have ever visited. Its places like this that cause us all to wonder why aren't they all this way.

Had a rental car reserved (Hertz). Getting the keys and an assigned tie-down spot took all of 60 seconds. Car was parked right up front and could be driven right to the airplane. Perfect!

Dan greeted us at the tiedown with cold bottles of water and helped us get the Hertz rental that had been parked at another FBO. The kind of airport I'd enjoy being based at. Cheapest gas in the area, too. We'll be back!

Great experience, flew a Citation in and looking for more reasonable pricing then PSP or the other FBO's in Thermal. Rental Cars were standing by, we were marshaled in quickly, parked in a good spot where we could fuel from. They claim "self serve" but all the help you could want is available. GREAT SERVICE!

Just spent 2 nights at Thermal Self Serve and received excellent service from John, Dan and Amber. They even washed my plane for me while I was in a training class at their FBO. Great folks, great fuel prices, and excellent service.
