First visit to this FBO - usually go to KPSP - selected this FBO based on research on AirNav site, best fuel prices in the area (saved almost $100 over KPSP prices) and hangar availability - I was not disappointed - first time in 45 years of flying I was able to rent a hangar on a daily basis at a very reasonable rate and a beautiful large executive hangar at that! Dan and Amber were very helpful on the phone and in person and took care of my needs. One caution, if you are looking for a good price on a car rental, do your research and shop. Make a call directly to the local office to get all the correct information that you won't get with an online reservation. Off airport car rental companies will not have all the extra fees that on-airport car rental companies must charge and they do add up. Great experience with this FBO and we will return.

I have been in to Thermal Self FBO many times and each time the service and friendly attitude is the best. I am on the way out there today and Dan is planning to meet the wife, the dog and me!

Great service... Dan met us with our rental car and bottles of water. Follow up was excellent too.... Made sure the car was booked back in even though we dropped it after hours on the weekend. Thanks!!

On arrival Dan was there and helped park us and had the rental car pulled up by the time we were unloaded. Used Desert RentACar, as Hertz had "none available" in the middle of June. Clean car at a good price. Dan very helpful with restaurant advice and directions. Great service, I'll go back!

Before I was shut down my Cadillac rental (had requested a compact) was driven up to me and I made a change to use a hangar, was towed to the hangar given a key and thanked. Upon departing the cart came and towed me back to the fuel pumps, friendly friendly place. Without a doubt one of the very best FBOs I have ever visited. Its places like this that cause us all to wonder why aren't they all this way.

Had a rental car reserved (Hertz). Getting the keys and an assigned tie-down spot took all of 60 seconds. Car was parked right up front and could be driven right to the airplane. Perfect!

Dan greeted us at the tiedown with cold bottles of water and helped us get the Hertz rental that had been parked at another FBO. The kind of airport I'd enjoy being based at. Cheapest gas in the area, too. We'll be back!

Great experience, flew a Citation in and looking for more reasonable pricing then PSP or the other FBO's in Thermal. Rental Cars were standing by, we were marshaled in quickly, parked in a good spot where we could fuel from. They claim "self serve" but all the help you could want is available. GREAT SERVICE!

Just spent 2 nights at Thermal Self Serve and received excellent service from John, Dan and Amber. They even washed my plane for me while I was in a training class at their FBO. Great folks, great fuel prices, and excellent service.

Pretty sleepy place on a Sunday afternoon in March. Fuel marked $4.69 but credit card billed for $4.44/gal. Nice surprise. Agree that Cochran is a very painless alternative to KPSP or KUDD, and easy exit from the TRSA.

Came into Thermal for a month stay again this year and Dan was ready with all the usual greetings and help. Even though I was a week early, he found me a hangar and helped me move in within minutes of my landing. This is a wonderful operation with aviation enthusiasts at the helm!

Been her twice in the last month & the place is great! Easy Access, Friendly folks & even a tug to move our Lear to a better spot - all at no charge! This airport has that "home-town" feeling not found at many airports these days! We’ll be back! Thank you Thermal Self Serve!
