Nice long runway, not crowded, cheap fuel, and nice facilities. It's a great place to stop instead of PSP.

I just wanted to commend the excellent service and overall experience that Thermal Self Serve offers. We got a great fuel price, lots of help fueling, tugging, parking, calling rental cars, and stocking the plane for departure. But they went above and beyond when we left a coat in the rental car and the fine folks at Thermal shipped it home to us on their dime! Thanks again!

Excellent facility and easy self-service fueling. Helpful, friendly staff and reasonable tie-down charges. Much better for GA than PSP. Recommended!

Been her twice in the last month & the place is great! Easy Access, Friendly folks & even a tug to move our Lear to a better spot - all at no charge! This airport has that "home-town" feeling not found at many airports these days! We’ll be back! Thank you Thermal Self Serve!

I have used Thermal Self Serve several times now and the fuel is always very reasonable. Dan helped me move my plane from the fuel dock to his tie-down, and Sergio from West Coast rental had a new clean car there as promised. Can't imagine using anyone else for going to Palm Springs.

DAN IS THE MAN! Great service at fantastic prices. Absolutely a 5 star rating. Dan went as far as to leave the rental car at our designated tie-down spot for a late night arrival. I only wished I had read the prior AirNav comments about the transient parking location more carefully - as Mac points out 2 comments below, they are the most westerly two rows of what appears to be the Signature area (I.E. They are 50 yards east of the fuel island). 2TM.

Thermal Self Serve is the best self-serve facility in the Nation. We saved $1250 filling up our Citation over what Signature was charging for fuel. Dan, the owner was available by cell phone and was present to help fuel my Citation. My participation in the fueling process was to hand Dan my Amex card that was it. The facility was new, clean and extremely well maintained. Thermal self serve is THE alternative in the Palm Springs area to the traditional FBO. If you want your eyes and wallet gouged out, go to one of the other FBO's, but if you want clean, fresh fuel and you like your hard earned $$$ to stay in your wallet, Thermal Self Serve is the place to go!

Great place with great prices - highly recommended. The location of Thermal Aviation's transient parking wasn't obvious, but they're the closest two rows - about 50 yards east of the self-serve pump. Got the rental car through West Coast Rent-a-Car. They drove the car right to my aircraft.

Self service but not really. Dan met me as we parked the airplane by the self service pumps, then fueled us, then helped me use the tug as I moved the airplane into parking (I saw several jets and turboprops use the tug while I waited). He gave me the keys to a crew car, and then pointed me to the pilot lounge. Great service, price, and experience. Highly recommended!
