I had the greatest experience at Custer Airport on Saturday, 29 October. Made an emergency stop due to loss of alternator. No mechanic but Dave at the FBO pulled his own airplane out of the hangar so I could bring mine in and check it out. He offered me tools and the courtesy car to go to the NAPA parts store. Couldn't have been nicer and helped me with the cowling. Got if fixed and thoroughly enjoyed Dave's company as well as many others who stopped by to see my Glasair. Cannot thank Dave enough!!! This is how it's supposed to be!

I feel compelled to make another comment. My wife and I flew up to TTF again today to go to Cabelas. When I called Cabelas, they wouldn't come pick us up (shame on them). However, the fine folks at the FBO (I'm ashamed I didn't get a name) saved the day. We were offered the courtesy car and were quickly on our way. Still a great FBO!
