We have visited Johnson Aviation twice now. Each time, they have been very helpful and friendly. On our first visit, they provided tie down space for the day and drove us over to the terminal building to pick up our rental car. Even though we didn't buy any gas, they didn't charge anything for either service. On our second visit, we stayed overnight. Despite having provided no notice, they found space for our plane inside their hangar. The next morning, the hangar doors were opened and our airplane was warming up in the sunshine - and they didn't even charge us a hangar fee! Matt and Keith were both friendly and helpful. We will be back again.

Stopped in Oct 1st. Found that my last experience with this FBO was not a fluke. The staff could not have been any nicer or more helpful. My aircraft was pushed into a hangar to keep it cool while I was gone! Very nice clean FBO and maintenance facility.

Excellent, outstanding, beyond expectations...They're just great. Whether I'm on an Angel Flight or personal trips, they're the same. Thanks for the professional service for my old Debonair and me.

Super experience at Johnson Aviation! We stopped in for fuel, to evaluate weather, and to grab a bite to eat. Before we knew it, we were provided with the keys to the owner's truck! We gratefully took it a little ways in to town for a lunch and before we'd left they'd almost finished fueling already. Upon our return we found they'd pushed our Navajo in to the hangar and hooked an air conditioning unit to one of the shout windows! It was so cool and comfortable for our taxi to departure. Nice touch! Also a very friendly big old dog in the hangar and active servicing of several types of aircraft. These fellas must do good work from the looks of it. Would happily return if our travels take us back through TYR - I'd say this outfit ranks highly in my experiences.

I flew into Tyler today for a few hours. I decided to use Johnson Aviation and was met by Michael when I arrived. I could not have been treated better. They parked me in a convenient location and brought ice water to my dog. Their fuel is reasonably priced and nothing is a problem for them. Nice clean facilities, rent cars, an affordable Mini Millionaire FBO. I will return to Johnson Aviation anytime I go to Tyler.

I had not been into TYR before so I flipped a coin on which FBO to use. Man, did I choose the right one in Johnson Aviation! The service from line crew to office personnel was the best I have experienced in MANY years. If you have a choice, you can't go wrong with Johnson.

I flew into Tyler about 3 weeks ago to do a job. The good folks at Johnson Aviation had a rental car waiting for me when I arrived after midnight. They did not charge a tie down fee even though I was there for three weeks. They pulled my plane into the hangar on three different occasions when bad weather was coming without being asked. They even washed the plane without being asked when a storm brought with it a bunch of central TX dust and dumped it all over my Cirrus. All of this at no charge. Service and attitude second to none!!! And their fuel is reasonably priced. Also there is a great little restaurant and air museum at the old terminal building.

Nice friendly folks, loaned us a pickup to run over to the restaurant on the field. Recommended burgers which were good. Looks like a good maintenance shop - we didn't need anything, but good to keep in mind. Recommend.

Outstanding bunch of guys at Johnson Aviation. I have been doing business there for 40+ years with never a problem! I would also recommend the new restaurant in the old terminal..... Skyline Cafe.... Great hamburger!

We arrived on Thanksgiving Day at the same time a cold front did. My relatives had out of state cell numbers and my cell did not work, so I was lent a cell phone to call and let them know we had arrived. Randy was sick and could not work the next day, so I did not get the opportunity to check out the service that others have described.

A+ Great people, friendly service. Coming back from OSH on 1 Aug 10, I bought a grand total of 6 gallons of gas for my Pietenpol. The crew treated me wonderfully and provided a safe place to put the plane overnight. Thanks to Randy & his staff.

Flew into KTYR this morning and stopped by Johnson Aviation. Great FBO with very helpful staff. Provided a crew car with directions to the Skyline Cafe, which is a fun place and very good food. Was well worth the trip.

Johnson Aviation is an excellent full service FBO. Diverted to TYR because of weather and taxied to their location and they treated me and my wife superbly. Very busy operation with lots of personal service and attention. Owner came over and spent some time visiting. Would recommend them to anyone.
