OK, this is the gouge. Forget the torment of CLT approach. This is a very efficient airport to land and do business in Charlotte. I landed and was in my rental car in 5 minutes with very generous directions. The very nice lady at the front desk kept my sunglasses for me which I forgot. With the FBO's WiFi I sat down with my laptop, shot a couple of emails, checked radar, paid my fuel and was back in the air on to my next appointment. About as good as it gets.

Flew in the other night for an overnight in Rock Hill. Perfect stay. The line crew is there and efficient. The FBO is beautiful and well stocked. I rented a Hertz and it was waiting for me. Cost $45 per day. The only catch was they wanted to charge me for 2 days because the have no pick up on Sunday. Once I complained they took the extra day off my bill. You have to book the rental car yourself and ask about pick up and delivery.

Flew in for an air show just down the road in Lancaster. Great FBO. Took very good care of us. If I'm back in the area, I will stop here again in a second.

This is one of the better FBO's I've flown to, and my stop this evening was just another positive example. Helpful, attentive line staff, courteous and helpful desk clerks, and just a really nice lobby with free wireless Internet, a complimentary computer, flat-screen TV, leather couches, and very clean bathrooms. Let's just say that I don't hesitate to take my wife, or important clients through this airport. Simply top notch!

A great place to fly if you have business in Charlotte, NC but don't want to deal with the hassles of flying into CLT. Facility (terminal, runways, taxiways, ramp, maintenance hangar) are all top-shelf--SkyTech (the on field FBO) personnel and friendly and helpful.

Nice sleep room with leather chairs in the back of the terminal building, WSI flight Planning, crew lounge with very cool water machine. Don't waste time at the vending machine getting water. Parking $10 per night and waived with fuel purchase. I'll stop here every time!

Flew in for a 4-day stay and had a great experience. I had called ahead to attempt to procure a hangar but was told none were available. When I arrived, the lineman, Michael, advised me that a shade port had opened up and they could accommodate me. Michael transported my plane to the shade port, tied it down, and fueled me as instructed -- all with the utmost care. Daphne, at the front desk gave me equally professional treatment. On departure day, I called 30 minutes prior to departure and my plane was waiting on the ramp right in front of the terminal. Self-serve fuel was 20 cents cheaper, but the full service was well worth it. Shade port was a bit pricey ($30 / night), but given the extremely high temps and cloudless days during my stay, it was also worth the price. A great FBO with great people and amenities.

I spent the day at Rock Hill Waiting on a student with a business meeting. Line friendly. Staff extremely kind and helpful. Great Pilot shop. Comfortable crew lounge, and good amenities. One of the best places I have spent the day in a while. Highly recommended. Close to Charlotte as a bonus.

Arrived at Rock Hill on Jun 14, 2006, Stayed in town for a week. We were met by a friendly helpful lineman who parked and tied down aircraft while we obtained reserved rental car. Joy, the lady behind the desk at Sky Tech was EXTREMELY helpful. First class airport! First class FBO and staff.

Visited Rock Hill on 5/19/06. Very nice facility & friendly people. No one answered Unicom so got directions to the self-serve pump from another pilot. Parking is $5/night with one night waived with fuel purchase. Got a Kia Rio rental car from U-Save for about $26/day with 200 miles/day. You can pickup and drop-off the car at the airport even during non-business hours for U-Save with prior arrangements.

Was there twice over the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. Prompt and courteous line service, very professional maintenance department that fixed a long-standing nuisance in less than a day. Brand new facilities. Outstanding.
