On or about 31 Aug 2011. I planned this as a fuel stop. Made my call to land and was told sorry there was no place to land and re-fuel. That's great to hear from an airport? Thankfully KSHD was within a few miles for re-fuel. Better check this place first before adding it to your plan

Flew with a friend up here on Saturday July 16th and stayed for a few hours to attend a Presbyterian Men’s' convention at Massanetta Springs Camp and Conference Center. VBW worked for me. I will return again if business or pleasure calls in this area. I don't need the fancy red carpet that other places provide and high fees. The ramp was full of airplanes, but there was no flight activity. I did find room to park on the tarmac. No fees. No need for avgas this trip. Really nice and relatively new FBO with clean, modern bathrooms and a PC to re-check flight planning. We were greeted by two local policemen the moment I taxied to the ramp, escorted each minute my friend and I were on the tarmac and on the grounds, and watched until we were airborne. Top secret military work is done on military aircraft here, so don't be alarmed or concerned when you see policemen greet you upon arrival. They are friendly and just doing their job. It just seems weird at first.

I would recommend a call to Dynamic Aviation prior to flying into Bridgewater. If the published phone number goes to voice mail, try calling 540 383 5327. You will be talking to Airport Security, and they will be happy to record your name and intentions. Calling prior to your arrival is a good idea. A fuel purchase outside of normal business hours or on the weekend will require some prior planning. Space on the Apron has always been limited during my visits. If the ground is solid, there is plenty of parking.
