Arrived after dark on October 19th and the line guy was very helpful in getting me unloaded and placed into a tie down spot for the duration of my visit. I've always received great service here.

Landed in light rain at 4pm on a weekday. Parked near FBO. No lineman to guide parking. No offer of assistance or protection from the rain as we unloaded plane. Front desk girl utterly oblivious to our existence. Even as we entered the FBO, she couldn't be bothered to look up to greet us. In sum: negligent customer service.

Stopped by two different days for Angel Flight Missions on 4/23/08 and 4/25/08. Lineman pulled us right up front, which I did not expect. The ladies inside were very nice to us and urged us to call in ahead of time on the next arrival so that my passenger's taxi could be called in advance. I personally think the treatment was well above average from my general experiences.

I fly fairly regularly into VDF on business for a couple of days at a time and I've experienced so-so customer service in the past. This past weekend though, as I was trying to depart ahead of severe weather, the line staff was very helpful in getting me on my way after discovering that my battery was dead. Perhaps the weekend staff is better at customer service, they really helped me out this time. I would still like to see less expensive Avgas since its still much cheaper ($1.50/gal less) not very far away...

I recently parked my Mooney at Leading Edge Aviation for 10 days while on business in the Tampa area. I was very impressed with the facilities and the service I received. Everyone I came in contact with went out of their way to be friendly and helpful. Fuel prices were reasonable and upon departure, I was not charged for tie down on their well secured ramp. I would highly recommend this airport and FBO for anyone visiting the Tampa area.

I have to agree with the previous comment. The front desk is more concerned with making sure you have an account set-up than the fuel sale itself. The Lineman was great, prompt on coming out, and getting the plane fueled. There is a "notice" about this inside the weather room, hidden in the corner where you can't see it, that they no longer offer a Crew/Courtesy Car because of insurance costs. Instead you have the option of paying $20 for 4-hrs in a rental. Not very convenient, and not worth spending $20 to buy a $10 lunch. All this for $5.40/gal!!! I would expect more from a facility with this high of fuel cost. I would also like to thank the line-crew for also being kind enough to add me to their lunch order they were picking up.

I flew into VDF for an overnight trip on Jan 29 2008. The staff at the counter was busy on the phone and never knew I was standing there waiting. I filled out a ticket and told her that I would call later to get fuel. I don't think she heard me. I phoned at 2:00p the next day to have my plane ready for departure at 5:00p. Since I didn't have an account there I gave this person my credit card number and she assured me the plane would be ready. When I arrived at 5:00p the girl behind the counter knew nothing of my plane, fuel request, etc. She told me that they didn't fuel planes without an account, and it appeared they lost my information. I was frustrated since I had called 3 hours earlier and my plane was neither fueled nor even pulled off the line. Seems they were more interested in setting up for the weekend 'show' of Cirrus planes, since they are a dealer. After 45 min, my plane was fueled at $5.30/gal. Not impressed with their service.

I had called a week before our arrival for a rental car for my passengers... talking on unicom was told there wasn't a rent car but she would try and get us one. I had one more leg that day from VDF to GNV and I ordered 35 gallons of 100LL in each main of our C421C...... First the guy drove around in his 100LL truck (for what I really don't know) then parked it and got in the jet truck. Pulled that up to the airplane.... ran out there told him no this airplane takes 100LL...... I really don't think he understood english much and taking his time finally got the 100LL truck over..... all in all it took 45 minutes to get 70 gallons of 100LL........ Again not a jet, not much service at all.

I landed around 9:15pm at KVDF after a long flight of dodging storms and in desperate need of fuel, after helping my passenger get on his way I found that Leading Edge closed at 8:00pm. After a few minutes, I suddenly hear the sound of a fuel truck and waved it over. I was greeted by Fred Flores who got on the phone with Joe Taffe and within minutes I had fuel and was on my way home. Many thanks to Fred and Joe for getting me on my way! Other FBO's could learn A LOT from these guys!

They made several funny calls to my home FBO asking about our operations and who owned the aircraft and that we did not pay our bill. After finding they did not track their invoices correctly they apologized but continued with calls about personal information

Nice friendly staff, great pilot facilities, clean. Good location for Sun N Fun. Surprisingly, not much traffic.

I came in overnight with a twin and was greeted the next morn. By a great staff. They went above and beyond to help me with my packages and bags, in addition to no ramp fee.
