5 min stop to drop passengers and luggage. No lineman visible (I know they can be occupied with other things sometimes). Charged a $50 ramp fee (small turboprop). Nice facility, but for the money, I've expected to see someone besides the counter guy who had to "open an account" just to bill my credit card. I'll try them once more to see if this was just a bad time but I left feeling that I had just thrown away $50.

Flew my Navajo, Stopped at Tampa Exec overnight. Was nice quiet, clean and friendly airport. Plane was upfront and fueled up right away. Bought 40 gallons but I think they waive the overnight fee with 20 gallons. They even have a crew car but I did not need it. Recommend to all. Nice runways. I will be back

Been flying into Florida 20 plus years and had never been to Tampa Executive. I was pretty impressed. Nice facility. Friendly helpful staff. I had to hang around until late into the night and Nathan did an excellent job of making sure the airplane and me were well taken care of. I will definitely go back. Thanks Nathan. Great job.

Did not find the negative conditions the last two writers listed. Plane was met by a very friendly and helpful lineman named Andy. We were parked promptly, and helped with all our needs. Inside, Sarah couldn't have been more pleasant and efficient. Rental cars were ready, directions provided, and a business card, so we could call and have our plane up front and waiting for our departure 2 days later. Same crew, and same great service the day of departure. Beautiful, clean facility. We weren't flying a jet, just a Malibu, but we were treated like we owned a Gulfstream. Fuel price is what you'd expect near a big city, but $1.60 something less than KTPA. Thanks again Sarah & Andy for the great service.

NOT GENERAL AVIATION FRIENDLY, they will force you to pay $20 landing fee or minimum 20 gallons of fuel. Really bad service.... Just deviate 10 miles SE to KPCM (Plant City)!

Diverted to VDF for weather. Nice facility and reasonable overnight rate ($15 for a Mooney). Hotel didn't have a shuttle so president Mark was kind enough to drop us off rather than have to call a cab. Will definitely visit again.

Don't mind the handling fee, but $20 to use the crew car to go get a hamburger give me a break.

Flew into KVDF today in my Seneca II. Very easy airport to fly into. Very convenient to everything in Tampa area. Pilots can rent a crew car for 4 hours for $19. Only problem was they had a 2-person "Smart Car" waiting. After I finished laughing I requested a real car for the 3 of us, which was promptly switched for a nice Infiniti. I wish I could give the lineman credit for great service, but never got his name. There is the same old argument about the $20 landing fee (waived with 10 gallons @ nearly $6/gallon!)

Have flown into and out of Leading Edge twice now on animal rescue flights. The staff has always been very helpful and professional. They always open the gates to the ramp, so that we can unload our cargo! Thank you Leading Edge for your compassion towards animals in desperate need. Please try Leading Edge Aviation, I would highly recommend.

Landed at VDF on 8 Feb. The linemen crew was very friendly and helpful. Our rental car was ready and things were good until we started looking for our hotel with the directions provided via mapquest to us by Luke. I guess there was a big misunderstanding to what hotel we were staying at (definitely not the pub he sent us to). After an hour or so we arrived at our hotel. The Comfort Suites about 5 minutes from the airport is NEW and comfortable with a reasonable rate. Called on 10 Feb to order fuel. If you get Erika you may as well hang up or just ask for a lineman. You may be put on hold and forgotten or transferred if you don't. Fuel is a bit high for a satellite airport.

I spent the week of 11/20 through 11/29 here at KVDF. The service was fantastic, my plane was secured in a hangar. I highly recommend this airport to any pilot, looking for impeccable service. Joe Taaffe, Luke VanHorn, and Andy, are doing everything right to make you feel right at home.....Not to mention the girls too! I thank you all, for your help; we enjoyed the airport, and the management. Did we pay more for our fuel, yes, but then service comes with a cost; for me a cost worth every cent. Arrived after dark on October 19th and the line guy was very helpful in getting me unloaded and placed into a tie down spot for the duration of my visit. I've always received great service here.

Landed in light rain at 4pm on a weekday. Parked near FBO. No lineman to guide parking. No offer of assistance or protection from the rain as we unloaded plane. Front desk girl utterly oblivious to our existence. Even as we entered the FBO, she couldn't be bothered to look up to greet us. In sum: negligent customer service.
