Flew into Virginia Highlands Airport, nestled nicely in the southern Virginia Mountains. Very easy to spot from the air coming from the south. Was greeted on the Unicom in the pattern. Very accommodating for my AngelFlight passenger as she was being handed off on her trip to Pittsburgh. AngelFlight discount for fuel. Full service VERY reasonable. Fees waived for AngelFlights and other mercy missions. It's nice to have people like these to take care of you at the end of your flight especially if you've had to deal with hard IMC for the past couple of hours. A couple of GPS approaches and a localizer approach get you in.
