I often visit Hartness. The guys at Crown Point are good people. I called one afternoon, ask for Hangar space. I arrived late, tied down and in the morning the guys moved my Matrix into the hangar. Good people.

Flew in for the day during Labor Day weekend. Nice clean airport, fair number of other visiting aircraft, plenty of ramp tie down spaces available on the south side of the ramp (though some did not have rope). Fuel prices were right on. Friendly staff and a great town, be sure to visit the Vermont country store, which is just a few miles away. With hilly terrain around the airport, most visiting aircraft took to the air shortly before dark, as did we, the mountain sunset opposite the bright orange moon was a surprise bonus once airborne.
