Stopped by on my way back from Oshkosh for self-serve MOGAS. There is a small terminal building with bathrooms and a courtesy car available. A nice small airport for a quick fuel stop.

Got weathered in at Vinton on our way to Longmont, CO. Nice airport and very nice people. The airport manager went out of his way to ensure we had use of the courtesy car and let us keep it for the night. Stayed at the Urbana Inn & Suites (used to be Super 8) in Urbana. Nice motel and reasonable rates. Fuel at the airport is self-serve. Pump was simple to use and price was reasonable. I never like to get weathered in, but don't think I could have picked a better place to have it happen. I definitely recommend Vinton as a stop, and really appreciate the airport manager's thoughtfulness and assistance.

I stopped in for refueling on a Friday afternoon. No one was at the airport, but the self-service pumps were in excellent condition, there was enough fuel at a great price, and the restrooms were available in the terminal building. Excellent stop, a fine facility. I will be back. Auto fuel available, too.
