I had a VERY positive recent experience with Ocean Air! I was planning to fly to WVI on 8/31/12 to pick up my son and fly him home to San Diego for a long weekend. A quick call to Watsonville City Operations early in the week to see if we could park his car for a couple of days revealed that the BIG Air Show was planed for that weekend and NO overnight car parking would be allowed....Period! I was getting desperate and finally called Ocean Air expecting the same answer. What a breath of Fresh (Ocean) Air. I talked to the owner, Gryphon McArthur..... He could have easily just blown me off.... But NO, he listened to my predicament..... Said they were going to be real busy with a Spaghetti Dinner for the Air Show..... But he would help me out. I had to twist his arm to take money for this, and when I arrived on Friday evening.... Gryphon came out

Terrific service and attitude. I do a lot of traveling, and needed WVI during Labor Day weekend. Ocean Air was helpful with everything - rental car, hangar, obtaining fuel. A real how can I help you approach, sadly not found that often nowadays. I'll return to WVI just to see the crew at Ocean Air.

I've had the pleasure of renting a couple of planes from Ocean Air - they're professional, friendly folks who have gone out of their way to be helpful, even once lending me a car! I'm now going out of my way to rent from them: affordable, modern planes with decent avionics. Can't wait to try their LSAs!
