Terrific airplane camping here. The shower is a welcome bonus. Firewood is provided along with fire pits and wagons to tote camping gear. The campsites are spread out, so there is good privacy. Come prepared for mosquitos. They were plentiful at the end of July. Ladies should be forewarned about the pit toilet. It's in the bottom 10 percentile.

I landed here and camped out in late August. WOW, the Montana Department of Aviation deserves a bunch of Gold Stars for making this campground available. There are picnic tables, chopped firewood for the BBQ pits, and this funky trailer with a propane shower. It's very quiet here and secure and they also have about 8 bikes available for loan if you want to ride into town a couple of miles away. One word of advice... It got down to 31 degrees (in AUGUST) and my lightweight sleeping bag did little to keep me warm. Other than that, it was wonderful camping out here and they don't allow people to stay here unless they arrive in an airplane.

Fantastic campground. Showers and firewood were great.

Outdoor propane shower is operative and plenty of firewood. Very nice stay as always; great place to camp while hopping around the local area and park. Don't miss Earth Quake Lake to the NW if you rent a car.

Campground water and shower on. Very wet and green. Airport/campground fenced in, no chance of bears showing up now. Good time as always.
