This is without a doubt the worst run airport in the world since Carlson's left we won't be back

The city operator Mike, was friendly and helpful...Have to self-fuel but the price was good. In the state of aviation today, costs have to be cut...Regrettable but I would not avoid this airport...They have a fine courtesy car.

Wow, what sad news. I was just planning a mid-continent fuel stop in a thirsty Citation, and was looking forward to bringing the Carlson’s' my "between Oshkosh's" business. Not now. Guess I won't get to eat at The Black Steer on the way to OSH this year, either. Bummer. :(

Over the years of Carlson's operation a favorite fuel stop. My wife always looked forward to this one. Really disappointed to learn just now that they're "history". Does not seem like a smart move by the city.

Yankton lost the best FBO in the West when the city did not renew Carlson Aviation's contract. We will miss Gary and Katie. What Yankton has now is a city employee with no aviation experience running the airport. No full service fueling, ergo - no jet fueling. No maintenance on the field. Please be very careful should you decide to stop in Yankton. Stick a fork in their airport - it's done.
