Spent five days here between Christmas and New Years and was treated like royalty. I used the self-serve fueling facility and the FBO was kind enough to tow the Bonanza to/from to prevent having to start & taxi the short distance from tie down area. Bad weather was coming so they hangared for a night for $25. Could not ask for better treatment.

Day-trip @ L38 for some local flying, met by very friendly folks at a comfy down-home FBO who promptly checked to see if we needed anything and made us feel at home! The government-owned facility is also available (by door code that any pilot would know) & a little more plush, so it's welcoming either way, 24/7. Well-maintained pumps, easy in and out, beautiful flying along the Mississippi River with plenty to see!

This is a great stop, I highly recommend Aviation Specialists - John, Micky, Dowell and Moe are aces! These guys bent over backwards and made our stay memorable - thanks very much, I'll be back y'all

Nice convenient airport if you don't want to use BTR. Cheap fuel. I have never seen an employee there, so I just picked a tie down and parked.

My family & I stopped her overnight due to weather. FBO went overboard to help us. They towed the plane to the self-service fuel pump, tied the plane down and loaned us their courtesy for overnight use to get supper and a hotel. Would highly recommend this airport. Runway is also in great condition.
