Landed on 33 in no wind. Total of two tie downs (we had our choice). Found Crowbar Cafe to be short 5 min walk, and provide an excellent breakfast at 10:30am. There is another small cafe along the way. This is a fun, challenging airstrip to add to your logbook!

If you comfortable landing on 2380 x 30 feet the village is a short walk away. Shoshone is a fun stop. Close to hot springs and maybe a 45-minute drive to Dumont Dunes...A must see. The runway sports quite a dip on the east end so you may get credit for landing twice. I saw the skid marks in the sand on the other end where someone need 2500' but no aircraft parts...Always a good sign!

The Cafe Crowbar is a good place for breakfast or lunch and is just a short walk. There is also a gas station mini-mart with a few local trinkets for sale. Check out the hand dug caves behind the market, up Dublin Gulch, past the cemetary. The caves were used as houses by some of the early pioneers.
