Went to Patties. Landed in the day and left at night and couldn't get the runway lights on or pick up the ASOS.

Great airport to access the Land Between the Lakes. Very little activity here on 10/14 and 10/16, but facility is beautiful with picnic tables and restrooms available.

The State is the worst operator of GA airports except for its own- Capitol City. No fuel no service no attendance no security no fences they do not care. Wildlife all over the place be careful.... Good luck.

Response from Steve Marcozzi, KY Dept of Aviation, Kentucky Dam Village State Resort Park
To address R Robert's complaint; The focus of M34 is access to the resort park and surrounding area with the service level listed in the AFD and numerous flight planning websites. Wildlife is also noted in AFD rmks. Fuel was discontinued in 2007 due to low sales volume and staffing. There are very good full service FBO's close by at PAH and CEY. A new $400,000 airfield lighting system was just completed with AWOS project in the design stage. For additional comments / questions contact Steve Marcozzi, KY Dept of Aviation 502-564-0340. KDA is committed to General Aviation Safety.

Great place to stop if going to Patti's 270 362 8844 or KY Dam Resort or marina. The ASOS has not worked for some time - occasional deer on runway.

Flew in on Saturday, 21 August to meet friends on the lake. Runway in good shape. Nobody around. No fuel available. Convenient to KY Lake.

I visited for lunch this last weekend and still no fuel available. That's a bummer. Patti's food is still great, though.

Flew in with my dad for father's day. Still no gas. Mr. Bills came in 20 minutes or so and we were quickly seated. Nice Restaurant. I recommend this fly-in eatery.
