Flew in today for breakfast with two other aircraft. The medivac is leasing the upper part of asphalt near the old main hangar. There are no X's on the runway, the manager of the diner said it was not a problem to land there. Enjoy it while it last.

I called the diner today. They confirmed that the airport is closed. Sad news.

Well, seems like the battle was lost. Briefer stated that the airport is NOTAM'd closed to Transient Aircraft.

What a shame this airport is closing. They tell me January 2009 will be the last. GA looses another great destination. Like we need another Mall?

Flew in on 9/17/08 for a chance to land at this great airport. I hope they find a way to keep the airport around; it is definitely a nice area to fly and a neat little strip. Food at the restaurant was great, and the place was very busy. Quick seating and service, and good food. Will return again in the fall foliage flights coming up!

Flew into Kutztown on Sat, 12 July, with the KEYSTONE FLIGHT of 7 aircraft from Central PA. Specifically to visit this diner based on "word of mouth" rave reviews. We loved it! Food, service, prices and location are PERFECT for flyers! Taxi right up to the diner, shut down, and order within minutes - outstanding. The breakfast was exceptionally good and very reasonable for the portion sizes. Highly recommended. Kutztown diner ROCKS! MM

My wife and I are nuts with this place you can park your plane right out of the window and watch the plane moving along, the food is outrageous and you can’t beat the prices, Tracy the waitress took care of us as if we were in a five star fancy restaurant making sure we leave with smile so if want to see your hard earning money on good use take an trip here and you won't be disappointed....

I had a nice breakfast on Sunday; the food was good and reasonably price. The service was friendly and efficient. Be aware that the airport is now charging a $5.00 landing fee.

We usually fly to Kutztown for dinner about every month. Great food, great prices, and park your plane out front and walk in. Watch the runway activity as you dine.
