Attempted to purchase fuel 6-1-08. Otis said he was out of fuel. Then talking to him he said he had some fuel if it was an "emergency". This airport and FBO are not interested in selling fuel, unless you are their buddy. Either you sell fuel or you don't. Stay away from this FBO.

Response from Todd Smith, Aero Vista
As President of the Turlock Aviation Association, I would like to hear directly from anyone who is having problems with obtaining fuel at the airport. My direct number is 209-668-7620.

Stopped by on 6/1/08 and Aero Vista was out of avgas. No word as to when the next shipment would arrive. We should've heeded the previous pilot's comment and called ahead.

On 5/24 I landed for fuel and Otis said he had no transient fuel. So, off to Gustine. Check ahead here.

From Todd Mabee on 14-Dec-2007
Fuel is again available.

Check ahead about fuel. I was there on 7/27 and Otis got his permit to pump fuel suspended due to insurance issues. He said it didn't look good.
