This is a very nice FBO with a newer facility that offers spotless bathrooms/showers, lounge area with dish TV, kitchen/eating area and a nice supply of drinks and snacks. Both LL and Jet A is available. Jet A is fueled for you. A crew car may be available upon request. There is no other airport that will give you a view of mount Shasta like this one.. Spectacular..

Got stuck at Weed, stopped by high afternoon winds coming from the South (classic case of "get-homeitis"), and Laura Collins at Eagle's Nest made what could have been an ugly situation a very positive experience. Even though were just a Cessna 150, she treated us like the Hearst family entourage that was also on the field that day. She drove us to Baymont Inn in Yreka AND picked us back up in the morning, way beyond the call of duty. Special people like Laura make or break one's opinion of an FBO, and your trip in general. Thanks Laura. Scenery is spectacular!

Great scenery but I wish there was some way to get into town from this airport. Flew in at sunset, and no taxicabs or anything. Finally found a ride into Weed with a truck driver from the rest area across the freeway. Weed is a good 5-7 miles away.
