My experience with Two Niner Diner was great. I arrived at a very busy time. I was greeted quickly. The waitresses were very friendly, food was great and served pretty fast. Food is akin to a mom & pop breakfast/lunch restaurant. I will be back next time I'm in the area.

Good food this AM, as usual, but the two girls were much more interested in their own personal conversations than paying attention to the customers. Cook brought me more water while they chatted away about who knows what. Very poor this morning. Will probably not go back for a while.

I have eaten at the 29er Diner at least 12 times in the past. I must say that on my visit last Sunday the service and food has improved. Great view of the runway if you sit outside on the patio.

Great food, great location, moreover, great people. Closed at 3:00, landed at 3:20...They insisted I sit down and have a lunch...Wonderful tuna sandwich! Thanks so very much for the friendships!

OK, I've given the Two-Niner Diner two more chances after our last visit, and I have to say, the service is back up to usual standards. I think with the summer rush they hire a bunch of high school kids but don't give them any training on how to work well as a server. Anyhow, our last 2 visits to the Two-Niner Diner have been much better, I am happy to report :-)

I have to agree with Wayne's comment. While I've truly loved coming to the Two-Niner Diner for the past 13 years, the service last Saturday was APPALLING. It took 20 minutes to get a menu, 30 minutes to get a drink...And a full HOUR after we'd ordered lunch, it finally turned out that our order had never been submitted. The wait staff's comment? "Whatever, we're busy." I can only hope that this was an isolated incident.

The Two Niner Diner lived up to its great reputation. Beautiful day, good food, and great view of the runway from the restaurant. Will definitely go again.

My wife and I were into Petaluma today (8-16-09) and the service was perfect. The food was great and the personnel could not have been friendlier. (Legally) I highly recommend stopping there to eat. GREAT FOOD.

Fun place to eat breakfast on a Saturday morning. Diner was clean, service was good and the food hit the spot.

Petaluma airport has always been one of our favorite stops for food and fuel. Today we flew in to have lunch with some of our Sonoma County pals and the place has really gone downhill since the last time we were there. The service was agonizingly slow and the food was terrible! I'll reluctantly give it one more shot for old times sake, but the 29er Diner has lost five regular customers if the food and service is ever as bad as what we experienced today.
