The lineman working the fuel truck was very responsive and even wiped down the windscreen without being asked. However, the Cafe is closed (again), and the Hillside Aviation didn't have a mechanism to get us any food.

This is a great little GA airport. The folks at Hillside Aviation were prompt and helpful. The Airpark Cafe is indeed open till 2:00 most days. The chef/proprietor is super-friendly, and serves up tasty homemade dishes, all made from scratch. Add the sunny deck for airplane viewing, the dog park next door, and you've got all you need for a lovely refueling stop or daytrip.

I flew to Benton today (Saturday) for the first time with several friends in several planes. We ate at the restaurant over the FBO, and traded stories with several new aviation friends we met over breakfast. The breakfast was among the best I've had, and certainly ranks among the tops of airport restaurants in my opinion. The regulars at the airport we met were all very friendly and made us feel at home. The airport is in very nice condition and there is a lush dog park right on the field. I'll definitely fly back to the top of the valley again for this experience.

Great folks, very friendly and excellent service, but why are their fuel prices SO HIGH? I've got a feeling they'd pump a lot more gas if they were more in line with other airports in the area.

Good food and great service at the airport cafe! FBO downstairs has no WX computer, but otherwise a nice little airport.

The cafe has a great breakfast burrito, and the burgers are great!
