I was at the Sunriver Resort for the annual OPA convention and the staff at the airport was awesome! Service was great, even though we filled the ramp with planes. Nicest ground crew I've met recently. Thanks, folks!

Sunriver is a great place been coming here for years, a lot of positives I own a house here, but the people who run the airport are not that friendly.

I just spent 3 days at Sunriver and was treated above and beyond what one would expect at a small resort airport. Scott and Stephanie makes sure all needs are taken care of with efficiency. The resort will pick you and your luggage up right at the plane and take you to the lodge. We came in during an extremely busy time but the staff was able to handle everything that was going on. Be sure to have the airport staff make your room reservations for you or ask central reservations for the "pilot discount" for an incredibly low rate. If you can't fly to Sunriver for a vacation it is an excellent place for that $100+ hamburger. I believe the FBO has bikes you can use for that purpose.

Came in with 2 aircraft and 13 passengers. Gal running Unicom was very informative and helpful, confirming runway conditions. We were personally greeted and a transportation van was waiting. Our passengers were quickly on the way to there meeting. Thanks from the Dutch Bros Crew!

I called the airport office late on a Friday and was given lots of friendly and helpful information about making a late arrival. They also arranged a great discount with the resort. When we arrived later in the evening there was a note inside the pilots lounge welcoming us and directing me to the courtesy phone to call for a shuttle to the resort. The resort and Sunriver area were fantastic. The service we received went well above and beyond with our young family but was easy going and friendly. No need for a car as there is 24hr on-demand shuttle service. Our family rented bikes and had a great time on the miles of easy and safe bike trails. I highly recommend Sunriver for a fun and relaxing trip.

We stayed for five days over Thanksgiving. The new runway is nice. Upon arrival, the staff was super friendly, called for the shuttle to be sent out to our aircraft to grab our luggage and the driver took us to our house for no charge so we just tipped for the favor. Upon departure, we had to clear the ice and snow off the plane and the ramp staff drove a cart over to provide us with what we needed. I was unlucky enough that friends of ours drove on to Redmond unbeknown to them with my wallet! The office staff was very accommodating and insisted upon waiving the ramp fee for our bad luck. (Lucky we didn't need fuel!) We flew over to Redmond to pick up the wallet. Thanks to all the staff for their help. We'll be back.

I felt like the staff at the airport (at least when it came to helping me park, get a rental car, fuel, add oil and then leave when the time came) did a great job. I did not try to walk across an active runway with an aging canine, so I can't speak to that. All I know is that I parked far away from the office and the staff kept walking or riding bikes to help me out, bringing me an oil funnel, my car, etc. With no complaint and obvious concern for helping my little kids and me. The experience was just like everywhere else at Sunriver -- nice staff, helpful, easy-going.

Free bicycles available for going to the Trout House to eat (excellent food) or the Lodge (even better food). Special rates available at the resort for stranded pilots at $89 (can be stretched by definition if you just want to stay there and not stranded) along with day rental of new 2 seat convertible BMW for $80/day rather than the standard $120/day rate. Excellent destination resort area and FBO.
