From Jack Merritt, N6309Q on 29-Jul-2007
Returning home to Eastern PA from Osh around 5pm on Thursday, 7/26, I had to land to avoid a squall line. Craig helped tug my plane to the fuel pump and topped me off. He then let me use the office computer to check weather - when it looked like I was going to be on the ground for an hour or so, Judy handed me the keys to their Lumina and a map to the nearest McDonalds. These folks were both great! Craig even stayed past closing to allow me to eat. They even offered me a discount because I was coming from Osh. I know it looks like a Turbine Palace, but they treated my vintage Mooney and me like I was driving a new G550. Thanks! ...

Landed here after hours because of weather. Thunder shower hit with lots wind and rain. I started pushing my 152 into the lee of a hangar. As I did the door opened and the crew of a King Air, that had landed just ahead of me, came out and got soaked as they helped push me inside. They moved aircraft to make room for me and shut the door. Turned out the crew was the FBO owner and his head pilot. Before they left they showed me how to get weather on their computers and how to operate the hangar door. They also offered the use of their truck for the night and directions to a motel, but I needed to leave after the weather passed. I didn't need fuel, I did buy a can of pop. Just wanted to thank Advanced Air! What great guys and a plush, spotless, facility! Thanks!

From Larry Plumb N101LP Dunkirk NY on 07-Jan-2007
The Friday before the New Year’s weekend I was flying IFR Dunkirk to Indianapolis with my wife onboard when my engine began to lose power. I called ATC and told them I was losing power. They pointed me towards S24 Sandusky Regional three miles ahead. Craig at Advanced Air drove my wife into town to get a rental car and we drove to Indianapolis for the New Year holiday. Craig had an A&P living near the field and they looked the plane over on Saturday. Turned out to be the fuel servo, which got sent back to Kansas and repaired. I picked the plane up this past week. Craig Durnwald stayed in touch with me every day about the progress on the plane, assisted me in every way possible and basically turned a very unsettling experience into a discovery of a new and great FBO. Place was only a couple years old, hangar was immaculate and the service was above and beyond. I cannot thank him and Judy enough for their kindness and service.

Flew in for a meeting. Called Judy inquiring about current weather and a crew or rental car. She said she could not reserve the crew car but she had a rental we could use if needed. Upon arrival she had the crew car ready and she waited after hours for us to return from our meeting. Great service, a very clean and new full service FBO. If you are planning a trip to the area opt for S24 not 14G. Thanks Judy. We'll see you soon.

After a recent charter with Advanced Air, I found their staff to be extremely courteous and prompt, and the aircraft extremely clean and well taken care of. I received the same friendly service while visiting them in my Piper Cub earlier this year, Thanks Advanced!

We landed here to wait out some weather ahead on the way home from Oshkosh. We had a great experience! We pulled up to the pumps and our little RV-8A was fueled right away. I went in to pay, and we were given a nice discount on the fuel because we were coming from Oshkosh. Apparently they offer discounts for aircraft going to or returning from AirVenture. It was definitely worth the stop since it was the cheapest fuel we found the entire trip. No fees were charged for anything, and they were willing to help with arrangements if we couldn't continue on. This will be a planned stop anytime we head out this way.

From Jack Letts on 30-Jul-2005
We had to divert here due to weather. We landed about 9:00 PM, the FBO was closed and the airport deserted. We called the "emergency" number on the FBO door, and the woman who answered said the they could not help, there was no taxi, but that the Sheriff might send a patrol car. The Sheriff sent a car, we got to the Red Roof Inn, no problem. We got back to the airport the next morning, and about 7:30 the woman we talked to the night before showed up and demanded $25 for a landing and ramp fee. I thought she was kidding, she was not. I said "we tied down the plane ourselves on a public ramp, and never set foot in the building, what service did you provide." she said "I told you to call the Sheriff didn't I, that's a service." She said that they would waive the fee if we bought 20 gallons of gas, but the guy that pumps the gas does not get in until 8:00. This was the most unpleasant experience I have ever had at an FBO. Please don't stop here.
