Great stop. We did RON due to forest fire smoke. There was some sort of gathering in the town so price of accommodations was ridiculous, but the staff at the airport made it nice. No tie-down or fees.

Flew in for my annual week visit with friends. Great little airport and FBO. They've added a paved ramp with recessed chains just North of the fuel pump. Very nice. No fees. Reasonable fuel. Of course you can still park in the grass too! Just remember, when coming in from the South stay LEFT, West of the highway until past the radio tower antenna.

Stopped overnight here on a long east to west cross-country. What a great airport to stop! This airport is unusual in that lodging and places to eat are a short walk from the FBO -- no car required. I stayed at the Aero Inn, which is inexpensive. The FBO staff was very friendly and helpful. The airport is active so I talked with a bunch of other pilots as well. Self-service fuel. No overnight fees. There are tie-downs on the grass by the FBO office. And close to some of the most beautiful flying country I've ever seen: Glacier National Park, Flathead Lake and River to the south, mountains all around. Wow.
