Always the best. Reasonable fuel, and the best people. Thanks for the use of the car and Happy 79th Birthday to Mel, who keeps it all together.

I have been trying to get a hold of someone at the FBO for about 2 WEEKS by calling at different times of the day to just inquire about a courtesy car. I have left several messages and not one of them returned. No one answers the phone. I did get an e-mail response from the airport owner that was nice but told me to call the FBO. I now give up and will be taking my business to another nearby airport.

This was the second time we have been to Smoketown and just like the first it was excellent. Very helpful people at the FBO, good fuel prices and it really is just a wonderful GA airport. The use of the crew car was greatly appreciated, will definitely be back

Smoketown is my favorite place for a $100 Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner! With FOUR places to eat well within walking distance, it is always a place to go! Additionally, there is a good courtesy car available for places further away. The airport facilities, FBO, and staff are superb at Smoketown. Over the last year, I have stopped at Smoketown 5-6 times just to go out and eat. Many thanks for running a GREAT airport!

I've been flying a long time, and this has got to be the friendliest airport in America. Went KASH to S37 in my Cardinal RG for a show at the American Music Theatre. Arrived S37 and met John there. He said here are the keys to the crew car and you can keep it overnight. Very laid back, friendly place. We topped off the crew car but could only get a gallon or two in it...Guess the guy before us beat us to it. I will definitely be back. Thanks John.

The price for AVGAS at Smoketown is always very reasonable. The pump operates 24/7 via credit card. Since the runway is only 2400ft long and slopes slight uphill (runway 28), you might want to practice your Short Field skills beforehand.

This is one of the nicest small-town airports I've visited. The owners seem to be in a lot of different business, from green houses to bulk water delivery! (Apparently the airport has one of the highest-flow wells in the area) Lots of new hangars and a pleasant airport area. I flew in to take a hot-air balloon ride with an outfit based here, and it was amazing. We flew feet above corn crops and popped up over barns, and landed outside an Amish church. Great place to land and just relax. The runway does have a slight slops and a hill at the high end, so I planned my arrival and departure accordingly.
