		Friendly folks. FBO is in a trailer house. Did not have AC when we stopped there in late July and it was warm to say the least! TIP - you can call El Paso approach on the ground and start working clearance through their airspace before you even taxi. Makes the westbound departures a piece of cake.

		One fantastic place to rest, fuel, and eat. Pat Barrett lent us her car to go into town for lunch. Great place! Thank you for your time and service.

		We had a great experience with Horizon Airport. They brought the courtesy car out to the plane and helped tie the plane down. They have the best fuel prices for any airport in the vicinity with a long runway. We will be back.

		Stopped for fuel in my Cessna 150 from KCPM on May 4, 2010-wind and turbulence picked up; stayed the night and Terry and Pat loaned me their car to go to a motel and get food; Great people and great airport; will stop on my way back from KPSN and anytime in the area. Truly nice folks.

		Great Airport! Stopped there to top off, Philip helped turn the pump on and even offered to fuel the airplane. Much cheaper than El Paso International Airport. If I am ever heading out west again, Horizon will definitely be a fuel stop.

		A lot of character at this little place, and cold water. I felt like I was stopping by someone's home, but the locals never made me feel unwelcome. Thanks!

		May 15, 2009 arrived in my Archer low on fuel from KJCT. Phillip greeted me and gave me a ride to hotel in El Paso and picked me up at 6:30 AM next morning. Easy pickup IFR in air. Good folks and local color.

		We've landed here every time except once heading to Phoenix from Ft. Worth for fuel and snack, Phil passed away 2 weeks after our last stop and could not make his funeral. Staying in Fabens this weekend to eat at the Cattleman’s' Steakhouse but will make a point to land the plane here at Horizon and drive the rest of the way in. Watched the special on Discovery Channel about their steakhouse, the review of the airport and steakhouse were so good, hats off to the both places.... Just love Texas hospitality. N7650n ...15th stop.
