Liberty has a new digital pump. I think it no longer has the maximum limits it used to have. I used to have to run two transactions to fill up my 182. Today, I only had to run it once. I was at half a tank, though. Still, it's the cheapest fuel around and it's an easy in and out.

I'm a regular for gas as Liberty County, but when I was in the pattern for gas on 5/26/08, someone on the ground graciously told me that the fuel pump was not operational. Just checked, they put in a new fuel pump; they had some problems, but they say it's working. Price is still 4.10

Still the best price in the Houston area. Runway is in good shape and it's a quick turn-around. Bring gloves, there's something on the fuel hose right by the nozzle. When I went to hold the hose off my wing, I got some sticky oily mess all over my hands. Should have worn my gloves. Great stop for fuel, though!

I fly to Liberty from Houston whenever I need gas. They are consistently 50 to 60 cents per gallon less than anyone else in the area. Every Sunday afternoon a group of local pilots and aviation enthusiasts get together in one of the hangers on the field. This is an excellent opportunity to meet some fine folks and save some money on fuel.

Nice airport with cheapest gas anywhere in the Houston area. The self-service kiosk asks how many gallons you want (for credit card approval), but when you enter the number the digits do not display. Otherwise, the pump works fine. Not much else here, so don't plan on looking for food.
