A nice, small airport under the DC SFRA. Note that it is very close to Tipton, MD, which has a much better lighted runway with REILs. Don't get confused between the two - this airport is a bit harder to find with only med intensity runway lighting (cannot adjust intensity). It also has a shorter runway, and be careful on approach to 21 especially at night, as there are significant trees and a displaced threshold on either end. 100LL available but its cash only - no credit card machine. Tie downs available in the grass near the ramp. No fee for overnight stays. Unfortunately I have been told that the land is now owned by a developer and they expect the airport will be closed in the future, at some point - which would be very sad for this rustic but very usable airport in close proximity to DC.
