Service and hospitality were well above average, Thanks Angela!

Stopped overnight at 'Tampa North' this weekend in my PA-32, have been several times before. Cannot understand why more SE's don't; very convenient. Friendly helpful folks, especially the line guy Steve. Reasonable fuel price. No fees.

Very convenient spot for North Tampa. Enterprise Car rental nearby and very cooperative. Highly recommend this airport

Great little strip (a little hard to find!), met some really nice guys at the FBO who made me feel really welcome, would definitely visit again.

Public use, private airstrip. No tie down fees or landing fees of any kind and no requirement to buy fuel. Per the girl at the FBO, "If you stayed a month we might have to start charging you but if you are staying for a few days or so there is no charge." Yeah, you may not get the service level of some of the larger airports with the high dollar FBO operations, but it is a private airstrip that is open to the public so I have no complaints. It is a small landing strip built inside of a residential community and has that small town appeal and attitude.

Good luck finding anyone who's interested in doing anything. I looked all over for someone who was working at the FBO and was told, "She's over there in a pick up truck talking to someone." FBO had no one in it, no one actively on the ramp, and I had to launch a search asking locals where to find someone to refuel me. Sheer apathy...
