Great little airport. Lowest fuel price around and if you accidentially venture off the taxiway into the soft spring grass you'll have plenty of great guys to help you get out. Thanks for your guys.

I had an excellent experience flying into Capitol. The FBO is staffed by volunteers. So, you know it's by people who love airplanes and flying. If you're one to prefer fueling your plane, it's a great place. Overnight in a hangar because it was -5F was a great deal, and one of the volunteers plugged in the heater for me. Nice people. I don't see why I'd go elsewhere, except for the crosswind I had to deal with.

Very Nice people and a joy to do business with.

Capitol Drive Airport is a great place to stop if you’re flying in or driving in. The volunteers have worked tirelessly to get the funding to repave a less than stellar asphalt runway. This past spring, runway 3/21 as well as all other pavement was recovered with new asphalt slurry and has been completely repainted. All the weeds that used to hold the asphalt together and now gone and the cracks and heaves have been all but eliminated. The runway is much smoother. This is a temporary solution and a complete land plan and completely new runway is slated to be installed in the coming years. Please stop by and buy some gas, it is the cheapest around, and will help to ensure that the airport thrives. The volunteers will be happy to see you come in!!!

Just talked to Fred at Capitol Air. He said the black top runway was just resurfaced about 2 months ago and is in wonderful shape. All new center line markings. Great gas price based on today's prices! $4.11

I visit 02C regularly for work I have in the area. The people there are exceptional. They go WAY above and beyond the call of duty to accommodate their guests whether just stopping by, or a regular like me. I highly recommend Soerens Ford (very nearby) if you need a rental car. Ryan or Michael there will even come pick you up (eat your heart out Enterprise ;-). Best fuel prices in the area (by a long shot), best attitudes, and best service -- what more could you ask for. Runway lights are brighter now, too!

For a great fuel stop this is hard to beat. The airport does have a rough runway; soft field technique helps keep your nose wheel from scaring you. Otherwise, it's the perfect small airport with great people. Thanks guys, I'll be back.

Great fuel prices, I just wish the runway were a bit smoother.

From Don Hurrle on 18-Jan-2006
Our plane is based just 7 miles away, and we can't afford not to buy our fuel at Capitol. Nice bunch of people working there as volunteers, which enables them to keep the price down. Coffee and goodies also.
