STILL NO FUEL. Apparently it has been a year now that they have been without fuel. The drop zone operator has to lug his own 400 gal fuel trailer to fill his C-182. Go to Auburn (KAUO) instead.

The airport has been with out fuel (jet A) for the past 8 months.

In spite of the chart markings and AOPA directory information, there is no 100LL available at Tuskegee. The FBO was locked up tight. They have a nice runway. What a shame....

Long XC and stopped at famous airfield for look around. Nice runway and very cool little museum on field. Disappointing (very, considering the winds yesterday) NO FUEL AVAILABLE LAST THREE MONTHS. PUMPS WERE GIVING 0.8 GAL FOR EACH 1.0 INDICATED, according to the jump operator on the field. STATE SHUT THEM DOWN. No fuel here for past 3 months, the operator of the FBO said yesterday. Disappointing. Flew over to AUB, 16 miles to the east. 100LL was 3.68, full service.

As of 09/07/2006 there is no fuel at 06A, Rwys not marked and minimal services.

I wish I had read Mr. Fuller's comments before I landed at Tuskegee for gas on April 29th. There is no gas, and there is no one around to tell you there is no gas. I did meet some locals who told me that there had been no reliable gas supply there for over a year. That is a shame for such a historically significant field

Today (10/25/05) there is no fuel at all! Best to check before going.

I stopped in at 06A at the end of a long cross-country and at the end of a long day. I was met by a man with a smile, named Cedric. He arranged for a ride to the Kellogg Hotel at the university with a man named Steve. Steve offered to pick me up in the morning and take me back to the airport. The FBO is an impromptu museum for the Tuskegee Airmen. The Kellogg was a great place to spend the night, and the airport was a great experience. P.S. Cedric specializes in aircraft refinishing, at very low prices. Thumbs up.
