Stopped into 0B5 to visit a client in Greenfield. Bruce was kind enough to allow us to borrow his jeep for our brief visit there. Super nice guy surrounded by idyllic New England landscape. Breath taking views during our autumn flight there......

Stopped at Turners for the day to go skiing at Berkshire east. Nice runways and taxiways, no landing or parking fee charged to me. Bruce is a nice guy.

Today, (Sat) I stopped to pick up my a/c after an annual. Yesterday I had received a message from Bruce stating that it was ready and tied down outside and that he had left for the weekend. Because of a family medical problem I didn't have time to pick it up. Thunderstorms with nickel sized hail rolled into the area Friday night. Charlie hustled back to the airport and put it inside before the storm arrived. This is an excellent example of why I have been going to Pioneer Aviation since 1982. You will not find more honest or caring people in general aviation. More than once the folks at Pioneer have dropped what they were doing to help me, and I have personally witnessed them do the same thing to strangers who were stranded there. If you are looking for friendly folks who know light aircraft this facility is for you. Thanks Charlie and Bruce!
