A true "old school" airport experience. Friendly staff, low cost fuel, and a great collection of airplanes and people. Well worth a stop!

You'd be surprised at how much is going on at such a small rural airport! An interesting collection of aircraft are based there, from warbirds to ski-planes, and the airport hosts numerous activities throughout the year, including a luau, a flour-drop competition, a vintage airplane fly-in, pancake breakfasts, a chili-fest, a 5k adventure run and a Halloween party! The friendly staff is very supportive of, and involved in EAA Chapter 932 activities, especially the Young Eagles rallies. They also have a busy flight school and the maintenance shop is happy to support owner-assisted maintenance.

Stopped in for a quick turnaround in April. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Facilities are more like a lodge than an airport and very comfortable. I'll be glad to go back for a visit!
