One of the most beautiful airfields I have ever seen!!! It’s short, but with a lake at each side there are no Obstacles... Very nice people!!

Call ahead to make sure gas is open. Normal Hours are 9-5. They don't serve gas at 5:05.

Quite possibly the friendliest aeroport in New Jersey. Flew my Cardinal RG in there last week from ASH and overnighted for the weekend. They could not have been more accommodating. Airport manager John will go out of his way to help you out. Nice well-maintained runway with one of the most picturesque approaches I've ever seen. Be careful not to confuse it with 13N only 2 miles away with a similar layout. Brush up on your short field techniques first, and suggest sweeping the runway at night for deer before takeoff. Lights work fine on 22.85, just click slow and be patient. Good idea to get in and out in the daylight once first to familiarize yourself with it. I will definitely be back.

This airport is absolute beauty. I grew up a few miles away and it has always been a great place to land when visiting my family. The airport is always in tip-top shape since it is owned by the NJ Forest Fire service. Full service gas so you don't even have to get your hands dirty. A lot of people are intimidated by the short runway between two lakes, but it is better than a short runway with trees at each end; it just makes it that much more beautiful going in and out. Only thing is make sure you call ahead for overnight parking.

Very nice--I flew in mid-August 2006; fuel price was accurate at $4.10/gal for 100LL. Small field, so I recommend calling ahead for parking information. No other FBO-type sales available.

Over 20 miles of wooded trails surround this gem of an airport. Fly in, get out, walk in serene beauty, fly home again and dream of when you can once again return to this unique destination.

As a response to the PCL's, they do work, it just takes a few tries and you must be fairly close to the airport. And there will be deer and geese on and around the runway, so drag the runway at night to eliminate any surprises.
