Ona 12V is a fine airport. Land rwy 25 over the hill and it was breathtaking. You might want to do a slight dogleg landing that rwy. FREE parking for two nights, friendly FBO, Fuel price was the same as quoted here.

Nice airport but there is a tall hill/mountain RIGHT OFF the end of 25. Landing on 25 can be very tricky with a stiff crosswind. Be cautious of the varying wind conditions on final due to the terrain features.

Landed there to meet some friends who live close by this airpark. We called ahead and asked if we could plug our PA-22 overnight. The FBO operator was friendly and helpful. He let us park on the side of the hangar through the gate and offered to plug the plane for us before leaving in the evening... which he did. The FBO was not open when we left on Sunday late morning so maybe they are closed on Sundays. If you come from the North, you will be almost over the field before you see it because it is tucked in against some low hills. It is a nice place and we enjoyed it.
