From Ryan Anders on 28-Oct-2009: Made this a fuel stop after seeing a low price advertised. What a great little airport! Very friendly locals and a fuel price that I have not seen anywhere else. Highly recommend this airport.
From Terry Orner on 26-Nov-2008: Stopped for gas on 11/26/08. Nice runway and taxiway. Cheapest fuel price in the area at $3.01/gal. I thought I'd never see $3 avgas again. Other than a number of helicopters in the area, the only issue to watch for is the fuel nozzle doesn't automatically cut off, so you may get a couple extra ounces if you're not careful.
From Carey Mills on 01-Jun-2008: Wow! How high can fuel prices climb at the airport? 15 miles to the southeast you can save .25 cents on the gallon.
From Carey Mills on 13-Jan-2008: Great little airport with a brand new runway. The only problem is fuel prices. Elba use to have the best price in town and you could always count on it. Now it seems profits are more important then service. I wish the airport authority would provide its goods and services at the same rate that's associated with that fine little town.
From Ryan Patton on 18-Jun-2007: Flew in late last month -- a good self-serve fuel stop. Nice "pilots lounge" (for an airport that was unattended). Vending machine for Coke/Water etc. Only takes coins. Should be a great fuel stop after the resurfacing this summer.
From M Schmidt on 25-Nov-2006: Stopped by on November 22 for fuel. The self-serve pump worked fine, and the pilot room was open even though the airport was unattended. Great stop for a quick turn and low cost fuel.
