Spent the weekend here and it was most enjoyable. The service with a smile was great. FBO had wifi plus Netflix. Jet A is available and at a great price. Please stop in and see the many improvements planned.

As of 2/25/12 the self serve fuel pump was broken so call before if you need fuel. I do believe this is very temporary. There is no truck fuel either (for 100LL). In my case I didn't get fuel at home so that I could support an airport that I was landing at. It ended up costing me $$ and time to fly to another nearby airport, KMGR. The FBO is also closed on Saturdays. That said, my Saturday phone message was quickly returned and they were very apologetic.... I could tell that they realized how it could put someone in a bind. Still a great airport and folks that seem to care so don't worry about stopping just check on the fuel before you go if it's in the next week or so.

Heaven Silvey is an excellent hostess for an airport..... She helped us with all of our needs for a three day stay..... When bad weather threatened, Jason Silvey cleaned out his maintenance hangar and got us safely out of the weather...... Then apologized for charging $100 for a KingAir B-200!! The fuel prices are low compared to our home base and the southern hospitality is unequaled anywhere..... Great to see young people really going the second mile to help pilots!! Be well, do great work and keep in touch.... Flyboy Stinson N75SR Home base MGM.

My total experience was great. I was on the mid leg of a 550 mile cross country flight with a charging system problem and a near dead battery. Even though Jason and his crew were working on a C-402 engine replacement, they immediately started diagnosing my system problem while charging the battery. They worked from the engine compartment to under the dash to under the rear seat diagnosing the voltages at multiple connections until finding the common voltage problem. While working on my plane, one of the crew took me to a local restaurant. If they could not have located the problem, they even had a place for me to spend the night. All in all Adel, Cook County would be the place where you would want to be if you had a problem far from home. They also are in the process of building a newer 24/7 terminal facility.

Showed up on a hot afternoon and the manager came right out to greet us. The place had comfortable chairs and Netflix. We needed to refill our ice and there wasn't any, so he went to town and got us some. I thought that was a generous thing to do. I highly recommend these guys and sounds like over the next little bit they will be upgrading the place.
