From Philip Kineyko on 06-Nov-2009: Flew in on October 25, 2009 and it was a pleasant stay as usual. My Dad and I usually park on the the grass a little ways in front of the FBO office and eat our brown-bagged lunch in the cockpit. No one ever complains or harasses us in any way. Very friendly staff, and the FBO office is FULLY EQUIPPED with clean restrooms, a pilot's lounge, snack bar, etc. And if you don't mind walking 1/4 mile one way, take a small hike down the runway to the parachuting operation and enjoy the excitement of not only watching them fall from the sky, but the take-offs and landings of the DeHavilland Turbo Prop jump plane. A nice little GEM of an airport in Southern NJ. Stop in sometime!!!
From Stephen Orso on 16-Oct-2009: I visited last weekend on an Angel Flight. Personnel were very helpful with aircraft parking and reviewing local operating procedures. They showed flight tracking to the person waiting for my passenger and moved aircraft to make deplaning more convenient for my passenger. The jump plane was busy that day its pilots were very polite. A great experience; I will feel good about coming back. Thanks!

From William Ownby on 27-Jul-2008: I flew into Cross Keys to attend a wedding nearby on 26 July and was thoroughly impressed with the crew that had just bought the flight school/FBO there. While they were all busy renovating and getting the school back in operation, they were nonetheless exceptionally accommodating and helpful. One of them even took the time to rush me to the church when my cab was a no-show! You don't see that very often now days. Watching jumpers from the jump school also on the field is an added benefit. The runway could use some work - faded and non-standard markings - but is in serviceable physical condition. Definitely recommend stopping in if you're in the area.
From Stephen Hertz on 26-Mar-2007: Nice friendly airport with a single VOR approach. Gas is reasonable but the runway is not well marked.
