What a place! Brought my son up to drop him off with some friends at Lake Hartwell- Saturday morning - no one there, but the VOR code for TOC gets you in- honor bar for soda and snacks, make coffee if you want, and keys to three courtesy cars there for use- just fill out a slip of paper and grab a car. A local, Bill, helped me and gave us local information. I don't think I would have actually believed I could just take a car if he had not said that it was fine and that was how Franklin County did it. I just put some gas and oil in the courtesy car and when I returned still no one there, just left the keys. Felt like old school- Mayberry RFD. I may go back just for the atmosphere.

Even better than the other comments suggest. We stopped here for fuel 12/23/10 on our way south. Beautiful facility with everything you need. This place is a 15 on a scale of 10

The best hospitality I've seen at any airport. The airport even provided a courtesy car for a 2-day visit to Franklin County. Local airports could learn some business lessons here! I will certainly repeat my stay in the future.

Excellent fuel stop. Good approaches, runway, and reasonable fuel. In and out in 20 mins.

Still the best deal around! Good in and out and now an approach to go with 5000' runway! If you do not have a GPS capable aircraft, do the approach at Anderson and VFR it to 18A. MCN 11/279 18A SVC AWOS-3 PT CMSND 118.625/706-245-1097 is also new. The airport boys were there working on their Navions and helped with fueling. I have never seen so many Navions in once place unless there was a convention. Thanks guys for the help and see you again.

This airport is located very close to Lavonia Ga and I-85. I highly recommend this airport. Very friendly people. I stayed at the Super 8 hotel in Lavonia Ga. I had a perfect stay! ***** 5 stars for the airport and Super 8.

Excellent place to stop. Good fuel price and 24 hour access to nice facilities with VOR code (posted at fuel station as well).

Great, long runway. New GPS approaches. Great Fuel price! Nobody around. Ops office combo is Foothills VOR freq. Well kept. I'll be back.
