I flew my 8KCAB to 1B1 and managed to lock myself out of my aircraft on a very gusty day. The field mechanic, Mike, was very helpful and came straight over with a ring of 8KCAB keys that we could try. Unfortunately, he didn't have one for my lock but spent half an hour taking the emergency hinge off the door while I went into Hudson and had lunch with my friends. When I came back my plane was nicely tied down and my belongs stored safely behind the desk at Richmor. All of this was complimentary and got me out of a difficult situation and back in the sky. I'll definitely be back for the cheap fuel, friendly helpful service and convenience to Hudson.

Flew the Archer from KSMQ to Columbia County airport for a Sunday through Monday stay to view foliage and take part in other outdoor activities. Columbia County was actually our second choice, as we wanted to fly to Great Barrington, MA - Koladza. After calling Great Barrington it was clear that no rental car would be available for this last minute weekend trip. Reviewing AirNav, 1B1 was nearby. After calling Columbia County, no rental car was available either. The FBO at Great Barrington would not offer a crew car. Nevertheless, after calling the friendly employee working at Richmor Aviation at Columbia County, she quickly obtained permission to use the crew car overnight. We arrived, landing behind a jet, to the same level of service. We topped off the crew car as a courtesy before returning it next day on Monday. We then topped off the Archer with the self service reasonably priced avgas and flew away with a smile. I will definitely be back, whether in a single or something bigger.

I stop in to purchase fuel on occasion at their self-serve pumps. Nice folks, pleasant atmosphere. 100LL fuel price very competitive.

I tried to rent a car from Enterprise, but they were closed. Was loaned the crew car by a very friendly staff. A nice gem of a little airport. Worth returning!

Farm stands, foliage, and banana split in Catskill. Great fuel prices, good running courtesy car, and smiles from everyone. Richmor deserves our business. Support them in SWF and POU.

This was my second visit to Columbia County. Nice, friendly staff at Richmor. One came around the desk to open the door for us since we were fairly loaded down with bags. There is $5 fee for overnight parking (no exception with fuel purchase). Transient planes can tie down on the runway side of the ramp. While they let me use the computer at one of their desks, it would be nice if there was a separate desk/computer for transient pilots to check weather, DUATS, etc.

Nice airport, very good fuel prices. Active with everything from jets to LSA trainers.

Arrrrrrrrrrrgh! We flew in to have lunch at the Country Club, but sadly it recently burned down. Richmor was kind enough to loan us their crew car, and recommended Kozel's Restaurant, which was about a mile away. Good solid lunch at a reasonable price. $4.10 a gallon fuel at the Self Service pump. All in all, a good afternoon.

Flew in several times over the Christmas weekend. Easy SS fuel. FBO was locked after hours. The Automated Weather system does not work correctly and it made preparing for an instrument approach more anxious than normal. Not acceptable to have missing ceiling information and temperature reading 20C degrees warmer than actual. Runway is long and well lit after some persistence with pilot controlled lighting. Not my favorite airport experience but not the worst.

Easy in and easy out. Very reasonable price on fuel. Restaurant on the north side of the field at the golf course is pretty good too. Not to bad of a walk without any snow on the ground. Would stop again.

Stopped in again, didn't need services beyond a bathroom this time. No fees for my 182. This is a really nice, quiet field, with nice folks all over. Stop @ 1B1 if you're in the area.
