I spent a few days here in Oct 2007. Medina is a great little airport and planning to expand, so hopefully it's here to stay. Tie-down fees waived with fuel purchase. One of the guys at Flight Services of Medina was really nice; the other was Grumpy McSourpuss.

I am a private pilot that trained at Cleveland Hopkins and now flies out of Medina and I love it. I checked many other locations but was unable to find one that was as friendly and cost effective. The equipment isn't brand new but if you want to pay the high rates for a plane that is 2-3 years old, you are better off buying one instead of renting. The aircrafts are in good condition, the location is easy to get to and all the staff as well as

Hello everyone, this is nice airport in a good location. Got my inst ticket here and became an instructor. No complaints about service or billing. Sunday mornings, the pilots that "need a life" get together. Walt is our leader and also paints airplanes. Come out and tell us your story. Seeya.

Nice, lazy little airport. But don't come here if you don't want lazy. I flew here specifically because they had maintenance on the field, and I needed an oil change after flying from San Francisco. I told the airport management of my intentions. Warning: the MX is not part of the airport management, and they don't talk to each other! The MX guy called me up on my last day in town to say they were out of oil filters and couldn't do my oil change. Self-serve fuel only, not hard to use.

This was a very friendly airport. I am attending flight school here (private) after looking at three other schools because of the talent and atmosphere, very relaxed and informative. Friendly staff makes for a good experience.
