Art, the airport manager is very helpful and an A&P if any repairs are needed or your annual. Had lunch at Cafe Barista in town, incredible food, a bit on the expensive side but if your hungry the portions are large and served with a flair, worth the visit. Fuel prices are very good as well. Will be back!!

The runway is in fantastic shape. The airport manager is a very nice guy who helped my wife and I secure our Cessna 180 during a raging windstorm. NOTE - all tie-downs face west. If there's a strong east wind, you'll have to park tail into the wind. It was a real challenge without rudder locks. The airport manager loaned us the city truck to go into town. We ate at Barista's on State Street and really enjoyed it. The food was fantastic and all hand made. However, be advised it's not cheap and they only take cash or checks. The airport has a small air-conditioned lounge with a couch and bathrooms. We inflated a queen size air mattress and spent the night quite comfortably.

The FAA information indicates the runway is in poor condition but this is not correct. The runway was repaired a few years ago and it is in good condition. Come visit us at 1L8. Thanks.
