Great place to stop! Fuel is generally the best price around and Clifford is most hospitable and helpful! Will be back.

1R7 is a great airport! The Airport Manager, Clifford, is a former Judge and State Representative and is as nice as anyone can be. He has high-speed internet, a great courtesy car, and the best avgas fuel prices within a 100 mile radius. I stop in just to buy fuel and to visit with the Judge sometimes.

I stopped by due to weather; the operator was as nice as could possibly be. Fuel price was excellent, Courtesy car was available and since the airport was closing for the night he let me have it for the night so I could get to the hotel. My Bonanza and I were quite happy there. If in the area I will return for sure.

What a great airport! Small and quiet with the necessary services available. The fueling was very easy and during business hours completely "assisted", that means done for me no mess no fuss! Courtesy car available and the catfish were really good. Reasonable 100LL price and you can't beat the jet A @ $3.18. Multi-Service cards are not accepted by the fuel machine, M/C or Visa only but still very convenient.

Excellent cross-country stop with good prices on avgas as well as computer weather access and facilities. Cliff first responded over Unicom to my 'traffic' announcement and helped with fueling for a quick turn around. Nice friendly stop.

Good (often the best) fuel prices and the best and friendliest service ever. Not kidding, I never had better service on any fuel stop. I was worried my mag timing was of and they checked and adjusted it for free! It is worth a major detour just to support good service like this!

I stopped for fuel twice last year - July and late December. You will not find a nicer airport manager, anywhere. Both times he offered a courtesy car to drive into town for lunch. They do their best to keep fuel prices as low as they can. Computer weather info. This is Southern Hospitality at its best!
