We always make 1R7 a stop when traveling west in our RVX. Absolutely the best southern hospitality anywhere! We felt right at home on a "courtesy car adventure" to downtown Brookhaven for the fall festival for lunch with cheap 100LL self serve waiting when we returned. You can't beat the service, hospitality and family atmosphere. Thanks!

Flew in for weather stop August 5th. Was the best non-manned Airport I have been to. Pay at pump self serve gas worked great. Called the number on the door and gentleman gave me code to get inside and informed me where the keys to courtesy car were to get lunch. Excellent weather planning station and restrooms were very clean. Thanks.

January 3, 2010. I planned a stopped at Brookhaven (1R7) for gas. Price was as advertised and a new 24-7 fuel service center worked great. Runway was long and smooth. Being it was a Sunday, FBO building was locked. I like the fuel prices.

Aug 5, 2009, Sad day Clifford retired and the new SS pump not working yet...Old pump out of Gas plan another stop check Notams for fuel!!!

With its southern hospitality, this is a WONDERFUL place to stop! And, be sure to borrow the courtesy car and head to town for a meal at "Porches".
