I've been deliberately avoiding this place due to the comments on landing fees but stopped in for needed fuel and a leg stretch. What a great surprise! The airport is beautiful, well maintained, and as friendly as can be. The pilot’s lounge is clean and comfortable and I wish I could take it home. Dylan was on duty in the office and explained the fees. The landing fee of $25 applies to commercial ops and TWINS. The airport owners are not aviators and don't comply with the usual practice of airports waiving fees with a fuel purchase. Fore-warned is fore-armed. As an employee, Dylan has to follow the rules, so don't hold it against HIM. He couldn't be nicer. Singles are welcome without fees, but overnights are $15 for the first night and $10 for each additional. All in all stopping here was a WONDERFUL experience and I will stop here again any time I'm in the area.

Arrived in a Cessna 182, and were called on the CTAF as soon as we cleared the runway asking what they could do for us. We were met on the ramp by Phil who assisted with parking and securing the plane. Runway in excellent condition. River Aviation's facilities were clean and comfortable. Nice lounge with a TV and computer. Radio Controlled AWOS on CTAF (3 clicks). Great airport and FBO. Will definitely return.

Reminder that preferred approach is 33 and departure 15, so make sure you give position calls. Self-serve fuel priced as advertised, tiedowns available. Enterprise 845.336.4700 has gate combo so you can leave a rental at the parking lot on weekends and drop the key at the FBO, very convenient. Dave at Tern Aviation quite competent for repairs.

Flew into 20N as part of a 12-ship formation from the KEYSTONE FLIGHT to visit OLD RHINEBECK AERODROME in Oct. Great service, facilities, and ground crew at this airport. We called and planned ahead and it worked out very well with good parking, fast fueling, and a nice pilot lounge for planning and clean bathrooms for the ladies. This is THE place to go when visiting OLD RHINEBECK.

Nice little airport, friendly people, BUT zero ramp service, limited parking on a quiet day, and a $25.00 ramp fee for a light twin for a 3 hour visit with a $350.00 fuel purchase. Really?

Keystone, OutKast and New England Flights from the Cessna 150-152 Club converged on Kingston to visit Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome on Saturday, October 9, 2010. We were met at the fuel pumps and worked out way through the line to get gassed up and parked. It was a very smooth operation. Would stop again.

I flew in on a very busy day. Not only were the Young Eagles active, but also members of the Cessna 150-152 Club were arriving to attend the airshow at Old Rhinebeck. Kevin, a lineman, was unflappable amid the potential mayhem. Thanks for a smooth experience. Looking fwd to a return visit.
