Very pleasant experience, staff attentive to our 172's needs and ours. Note that the Hertz office is quite far from the airport (they were nice to work with and drove us back and forth, but it took a while), Avis and Budget are nearby. No pilot's briefing room, but wi-fi on site. No chart sales. Be careful of the turbulence off trees on the 27 approach! We had a north wind and had a nasty abrupt roll during flare. All's well that ends well...

Flew in on Sunday, April 11, 2010 and was greeted by a smooth runway, taxiway and apron. Magnificent FBO office recently completed in 2005 is up to par with the jet centers. Friendly gentleman on duty was nice to talk with. Saw lots of activity on the field and such, with no hassle whatsoever. Fuel prices were comparable to most in and around the area. We stopped for lunch by our plane, and parked in a nice shady area on the apron. Would fly into again.

From Mike Marra, KEYSTONE FLIGHT on 22-Mar-2010

Flew in on 20 Mar with an EIGHT-SHIP formation of the KEYSTONE FLIGHT of Central PA. We had to come here to find self-serve fuel after arriving 7 minutes too late at KGED! This is a nice airport - good facilities, lighting, runway, and nice tarmac and taxiway. Self-serve worked great, thank goodness, or we'd all have had to spend the night. Keep up the great work, Delaware!
