Flew in for fuel and business. Mark and Lenette greeted us. They were very friendly and helpful with the bags. We used the airport truck for several hours in the local area at no charge and the fuel had the best price in the state. We will be back for more fuel and hospitality in the future.

In previous stops I haven't seen any staff around (just the day and time I came thru). However, this trip there was staff on the field. Typical warm southern hospitality. I needed a few things to clean a fuel filter and they were very helpful. Friendly conversation about the weather, politics, the local area, etc. The facility is very clean and accommodating. Oh yes, the fuel price...The cheapest I've seen and one of the main reasons we chose to stop at 3F3 when in the area. Hope they continue to keep the price low.

We stopped enroute from Orlando to Texas because of the very competitive fuel price and the good AirNav comments. I just want to add more positive feedback since the airport is easily accessed and in excellent condition. The terminal building also met my wife's approval, which is normally difficult when I stop because of cheap fuel on cross-country trips. The bathrooms are clean, the terminal is inviting if you bring a snack, and they have can sodas available in the refrigerator. We will certainly add this to our stops when in this area. Highly recommended!

Flew in a Bell Long Ranger and was ready for some fuel. When we arrived, figured out that transponder codes were helpful to get to a car. The setup is awesome and the FBO is very nice. Went and ate and came back to refuel. That did not work out as planned because the Jet A pump lost prime. I called Randi, she answered and was there in short order on a Sunday. She could not fix the issue and called in a re-fueler that could drive the truck to refuel us. I was impressed and she was such a fun person to talk with while waiting on the fuel. I will go through here again if there is any way possible.

Nice airport and nice FBO. Like other reviewers have noted, the handle to turn on the pump (after you have authorized your credit card) is not marked well. It is over on the right, next to the Jet A fuel. Both the Jet A and the 100LL fuel pump paddles are together on the right, and the markings for the 100LL have worn off so it is unmarked. FBO building is new and very nice. Know your transponder codes to gain entry ;)

Planned a night stop there enroute to Sun'n'fun. Cheap gas, out of hours access to the building and great free use of the bunk rooms and showers. Everything clean, new and nice and runway in excellent condition. Randi responded helpfully to my prior email inquiries. Overall highly rated and recommended.

Great stop. Fantastic prices but best of all the terminal is exactly what owner/pilots want on those long cross countries. If you are familiar with Gainesville, TX airport, this place is very similar. The runway 18-36 is in great shape.

Stopped in my Baron on 12-27-11 on a long flight from St Augustine to Phoenix. The airport is in pristine condition, the reports about the runway condition are dated and incorrect, and the runway has a new surface and is in great condition as are the taxiways. Also the office is new and the fuel pumps do require being able to throw a switch that is next to the hose, hard to imagine someone operating an aircraft that cannot operate these pumps and clean and the manager is quite friendly.

Mansfield is my favorite stop. Not only do they offer what I think may be the best price on 100LL in the US, but they also have everything you might need: free crew car, beautiful facilities with free wifi, dish network TV on an LG 52", coffee, bottled water, etc... If/when my wife leaves me because I spend too much time with my plane, my mistress (the Baron) and I will runaway to 3F3, heck I might just spend holidays here (currently enjoying amenities waiting for storms to pass). THANKS Randi and everyone who helps make and keep 3F3 FANTASTIC!!

Stopped here November 8; I wanted to see if this place was for real. Nice runway with an IAP, functional self-serve island, nice little "terminal" (office) that was undergoing repairs and improvements. No other traffic at all. An excellent X/C fuel stop, IMHO.

Incredible price on gas @ $3.60 a gallon! Receipt paper printed out but was blank. Young helper on the field helped to identify the two paddle switches to turn on the pumps, which are positioned together for 100LL and Jet, A which were not clearly marked. Did not use any other facilities. Plan to return.

We stopped by on my way to TX and on my way back today, just wanted to tell all you people there is a switch that I think all these pilots that didn't get fuel there that it was their own fault! Great price 3.60 for 100LL and a very pretty girl works the FBO!! P.S. Switch is to the right of the pumps, one for 100ll other jet!!

10/28/2011 Stopped for fuel on Friday and found new asphalt runway and taxiways. The pump was working, but no receipt from the self-service pump. Young fellow cleaning a tractor helped me. The airport manager was nowhere to be found and she was in the courtesy car. The facility is nice looking inside. Over all, a good experience.

Tried to get fuel there on a Saturday but their pump was INOP and it was not NOTAM'd as such. A state trooper was sitting on the ramp for some reason and said it had not been working lately, so we tried to call the airport manager with no luck. The facility seemed nice enough, but after a half hour of waiting we had to go elsewhere for fuel, so it ended up wasting time. The manager finally called after we left and said it was working fine, but I had tried it three times and the pump never would activate after credit card approval, so be warned if you're going there on a weekend or after hours.

Stopped in on Friday, Oct 7 in a floatplane to get fuel on my way to Austin, TX. Turned on the pump, climbed all the way up to the wing, pulled the trigger and...Nothing. They had run out of fuel, and didn't know it. Had to borrow a jerry can and go downtown to an autogas station to get fuel to get to the next airport. Still not NOTAMed as out of fuel. Call ahead.

I flew in on October 7th and the fuel pump was not working. The airport manager came out and told us that the pump had been on the fritz all day. She said a fuel truck was on its way and it would be there sometime between 3 and 4 o'clock. Well it was only 2:30 so we decided we would stay and wait for the fuel truck. We hung around till four and the airport manager came up to us and said that it would be around 6 or 7 now. I was very displeased by this news. We loaded up in the airplane and went down the road for gas that was $0.60 higher a gallon. We made our trip to Destin, FL and stopped back by Mansfield on the way back. I was very pleasantly surprised that the pumps were working properly and gas was a mere $3.60 a gallon compared to the $3.90 a gallon it was two days earlier. So all in all I would come back, I just felt like the first time there, we wasted an hour and a half waiting on a truck that turns out it wasn't going to get there till 6.

Later in the evening, the FBO manager met me at the plane to help with the pump, which worked perfectly. The best surprise was she lowered the (new) price 30 cents BEFORE I purchased the fuel. Thanks for letting me be the first to buy the cheapest gas in the country that day! Beautiful runway and lights too.

Jan 1, 2011: excellent runway, easy access to self serve fuel, nice clean bathrooms and friendly, helpful, courteous people. I highly recommend this stop. Oh, did I mention the best fuel price I've seen in quite some time for GA. Thank you 3F3.

At this price, where can there be disappointment? The runway surface was much better than noted in the description. The self serve was simple to use. Easy access was provided into the FBO after hours. The facilities are clean, neat, and well maintained. I'll be back repeatedly. Thanks Mansfield. Well done.

Despite multiple glowing comments by others previously, my stop at 3F3 for fuel on "black Friday" was a bust. Perhaps deluded by the promise of "cheap" fuel... The pump failed to function, could not locate a breaker box, the 100 LL static line was broken, Jet A static line was stuck, no one in attendance, and no posted phone number to call for assistance. Nice airport and terminal building, just not a good choice during non-business hours. One big draw for credit card operated fueling is 24/7 availability -- If the equipment works.
