The folks at Gulf Air are a class act. Treat yourself to a bit of South Louisiana hospitality coupled with a healthy dose of gulf coast aviation history and visit with the Vidrines at Gulf Air. These guys went WAY out of their way to help me get Terminal Procedures so I could complete an unexpected trip to Houston. Thanks, I'll visit again soon!

I fueled at Gulf Air on 12/7. The pumps were tricky to work and the FBO was unattended. The fuel price was better than Riceland, but Riceland was able to help me with some charts and such. The Jennings airport is overall a great place to stop. There are good restaurants within walking distance.

On 12/7 the guys at Riceland really helped me out. They printed out plates for PNS and went out of their way to offer advice for going into MSY. I'll definitely be seen there again.

Response from Bubba Vidrine of Gulf Air
Mr. Odom confused the two FBOs. He fueled at Riceland using their self serve pump and then came to Gulf Air where Brad and Aubrey helped him with charts and such.

This morning, while trying to get fuel for Navy Search and Rescue Helicopters heading in to where Rita hit from NAS Pensacola, Bubba drove out in a storm to check to see if he was able to provide fuel. He got there and has opened up for us to refuel at his FBO. Definitely went the extra mile to help the Rita relief effort and the USN SAR crews. Thank you again for your help.
